Executive Summary

This is a report describing the findings after visiting in a paintball course. It describes the expectations of visits and the perceptions from the visit. The visit setup is on an early morning when the students were in session and practicing the game. It, therefore, presents a credible and compelling situation. This is because there are unexceptional components that were detected and triggered certain issues of improvement.

Consequently, this report will present the formation of the course, environment, the mood of classes, students involved and instructions delivered by the instructor. It, also, takes a positive side of encouraging other people to participate in this course for their beneficial impacts.

In addition, there are other factors that have been considered in this report. A factor that cannot be left out involves advertisement strategies that have been suggested by the board. This will be an effective step that will raise the growth of this course and the institution. Finally, the ideas retrieved from the visit have been provided to mark the potential state of paintball.

Expectations

There were issues that were expected before the visit. According to Rein, Philip, and Ben (2006), to make an effective study and practice area for paintball, there must be hiding places. Consequently, we expected that there would be a bushy area where people would hide during the game. The picture expected was from a remote, natural and wide area. For instance, the bushy area could have been a forest section without wild animals.

It was expected to be quite defiant and harsh since the practice is usually applied in under natural circumstances by police. Military rely partially on these games to establish the best way of hiding and defeating their enemies. It was obvious that there would be an experienced instructor to direct the students. Also, it was expected that male students would be more than a female student.

Description

The findings did not align fully with the expectation. There was a modernized strategy that was applied to serve as the natural forest. It was on a flat and small area of about 7 acres. There were large rocks, buildings, holes, and other hiding places that had been modified. However, there were instructors who were well informed about paintballs. In fact, there were 8 instructors handling students in different groups.

In addition, each instructor specialized with a group of his own and at a certain level of learning. Surprisingly, there was no female instructor. The male students exceeded the female students by an estimated factor of 8. This aligned with the postulation made by Rein, Philip, and Ben (2006).

The playfield was in front of the entrance. Therefore, the ideas of paintball were depicted in mind once a person stepped into the school. In fact, there was a board that advertised the paintball and an image of a person wearing the playing tools. I could tell easily that I was in the right place even before entering. This is because the board had been raised highly above the institution walls.

Apparently, it happened that I managed to arrive early before the institution opened. Therefore, I managed to monitor the punctuality of students and instructors. No person was late on the day according to the institution’s rules. There were some instructions that were delivered for about 2 hours for each group. After the instruction, the practical was commenced in 1 hour.

The practical took about 4 hours for each group. However, the time varied according to when the winner was determined. In this case, the groups with the most experience took longer to finish than those with less experience. I attributed this to proper/improper hiding. The game was fascinating to watch from the tower because a person could see all the activities happening in the field.

Consumer Behavior Insights

I managed to determine the factors that were apparent in the institutions. This was retrieved from an interview with students and instructors. I, also, requested their catalog and newsletters for review. In addition, I used the notice board to search for information explicitly.

I found that the institution could have several strategies for interacting with consumers. For instance, students could receive information about the institution through search engines. Social media have, also, raised a significant method of advertising. It is possible for students to be referred by friends through the sites.

These social sites include Facebook and Twitter. I, also, perceive the effects that a gigantic advertisement board in front of the institution could do. This board could appeal to all individuals who pass by the road. Apparently, there are other advertisement strategies that could be incorporated in this issue. For instance, emails, calls, television and radio adverts, and text messaging among others could be incorporated.

Newsletters, brochures, and catalogs could assist in spreading the name and service offered by the institution. Apparently, they could enlighten consumers about the opportunities that come with this knowledge. It is a strategy that is vital when police are finding suspects. Therefore, many people could be attracted to their services. Sievert (2005) identified that every person has a need that requires him/her to learn these playing strategies.

Consequently, we can argue that convincing people about the need of paintball would be vital in establishing the school. Also, there are other factors that could arise from paintball. There are opportunities to make movies. I realized that watching the game on a tower was quite entertaining.

I could see when a person was revealed to the opponent. This could allow the making of an engaging movie where we establish a winner. Players could qualify and become champions in the game. People could pay to watch live games.

It is vital to investigate the reasons why girls could not be prevalent in the institution. This would assist to improve the number of girls in the institution. It could be performed by encouraging girls into paintball. Apparently, Sievert (2005) had demonstrated that the performance of classes with both genders was livelier than those without 1 gender.

These ideas have been approved by many academicians. It has been apparent in most colleges and universities. Consequently, the mood and directions, of course, could be expected to pull consumers. It appears that most adults prefer joining institutions that incorporate all genders.

Lastly, there are aspects of distributions that have not been addressed fully. Girls should have more than two paint encounter before they are removed from the game. The rate of performance in practical activities between males and females is quite different. Consequently, it is vital to give girls more chances to paint encounters. Additionally, they are few and should not be exempted from the game too early.

The most appropriate strategy is to retain them and raise game moods. When the school is joyous, it is expected that there will be a good mood. This mood could reach the community and other potential consumers. It would be easy for a friend to convince his/her friend in joining the institution.

Suggested Improvements

Apparently, there are certain issues that require to be addressed. First, proper advertisement is vital. Consumers must be enlightened about the services and products that the institution is providing.

If the ideas are availed to many people, there will be chances of increasing the number of individuals joining the institution. If products, such as DVDs, are produced from the institution, there will be a high chance of selling the product because people will be enlightened about it.

I, also, realized that a bare place would not be entertaining and satisfactory. Although the set up of the field achieved the goals of the school, vegetation incorporated with artificial manipulations would be better than the case presented about the institution. This would create practical effects that appear in wild hunting and police activities. The area should be expanded to fit many people and make it hard for a person guessing the hiding places.

The playing equipment should be adjusted and updated. There are well-advanced equipment that could be bought for gaming. The guns could be advanced to point the opponent directly. Otherwise, to improve target accuracy, shorter guns could be applied. Store of playing equipment could be maintained by hiring individuals who take care of the items and ensure they are ready for the practicals.

They should record all equipment taken from the store and those that are returned. This determines the losses that are made from each game. Finally, the availability of play equipment is vital in the establishment of proper playing basis.

Therefore, all available instruments must be incorporated to ensure that every person has the necessary playing pack. They could be oiled, washed and repaired. Loyalty is potentially influential during the course. It could be established through rewarding winners.

Learning Points

It is apparent that the paintball course is necessary for practical implication in police and actors technique. They should be reliant to advertisements that can popularize the institution. Television and radio are the most viable strategies to enact the popularity of the institution. Location of the institution should have nearby equipment selling shops. This would prevent failures associated with equipment destruction.

It would be established that modern strategies have implemented strategies to reduce land wastage. Also, it would be known that males are overrepresented in this institution than female. This could imply that the institution needs to address this issue. It should not abandon the advertisement that could fetch more students than the present tally.

In conclusion, the establishment of a paintball course could lead to development in the entertainment section. The current running games, such as football, entertain people and help people to learn in different educational courses. It is vital to try the potentiality of paintball and determine whether there are people who could support the games.

Development of paintball will lead to the establishment of business opportunities in the future. Marketing will be a potential factor dictating whether paintball will establish and become popular in the globe. Therefore, trying will relay the potential development and determine the present misery in popularity.
