There is no uniform definition as to what the concepts of pluralism and elitism stand for. However, it would be appropriate, on our part, to refer to elitism as qualitative and pluralism as a quantitative worldview. Elitism implies that different aspects of socio-political reality should be assessed through their objective value; whereas, pluralism suggests that the objective properties of such value cannot be measured in principle, because it would lead to “inequality”. It is important to understand that the doctrine of pluralism is innately interconnected with the doctrine of egalitarianism, which implies that people are being born equal, regardless of their racial and social affiliation.

To realize the conceptual inconsistency of pluralism, as an ideology that is based on the wishful assumption of people’s equality, one simply needs to read George Orwell’s famous novel “Animal Farm”, where the author refers to the principle of egalitarian pluralism in rather a sarcastic manner: “All animals are equal, but some of them are more equal than the others” (Orwell, 1996, p. 23). The realities of living in contemporary Western countries, ruled by neo-Liberal promoters of Globalization, leave no doubt as to the fact that the very concept of “pluralism” is nothing but sophistically sounding, yet utterly meaningless category – in multicultural countries that suffer under the yoke of financial oligarchs (Plutocrats), there can be no pluralism by definition, because the existence of such state of affairs would threaten the interests of rich and powerful. This is exactly the reason why citizens of Germany, France, Canada, and Britain can now be easily sentenced to 5-7 years in jail, simply for saying that Jews were not only the people who suffered during WW2 (the “crime” of Revisionism).

I do not consider myself being a politically active person, in the conventional sense of this word, for the simple reason that I have little too much intelligence in me to seriously believe that my publicly expressed opinions, on the issues of political importance, can result in anything but me being charged with “inciting hate” (so much for cherished “pluralism”). The majority of citizens will only be listening to those politicians who can address these people’s subconscious anxieties and not to those who can help them in any concrete manner. In his book “The Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind”, Gustave Le Bon states: “A chain of logical argumentation is incomprehensible to crowds, and for this reason, it is permissible to say that they do not reason or that they reason falsely and are not to be influenced by reasoning” (Le Bon, 1896, Ch. 1.2). For example, the reason why the overwhelming majority of Americans had voted for Barak Obama, during the last Presidential elections, is because he can play rather well in the game of basketball. In other words – nowadays, the strength of pluralism in Western countries directly corresponds to the degree of citizens’ political irresponsibility.

It does not matter whether the form of political governing in a particular country discloses itself as democracy, authoritarianism, libertarianism, etc., the principle upon such governing operates remains the same – it is namely the representatives of country’s political and financial elite who make actual decisions, with the ordinary citizens being simply provided with the illusion that their political opinions do matter. Therefore, whatever our attitude towards the concept of elitism might be – this concept is the best applicable when it comes to defining g the essence of socio-political dynamics in just about any society. For example, nowadays it is possible to predict the outcome of political elections in just about any Western “democratic” country – those politicians, who invest the biggest amounts of money in their election campaigns, will inevitably end up winning, regardless of the actual essence of their message to the potential voters. Therefore, it is only utterly naĂŻve people who may discuss the form of political regime in a particular country within the context of how this rĂ©gime disguises itself. For example, the most despicable form of political despotism that has ever existed on the face of the Earth – North Korean Communism, officially proclaims itself being nothing but “people’s democracy”. The same applies to Western countries, although to a much lesser extent – even though military planes from these countries often participate in the bombing of innocent civilians in such countries as Afghanistan or Iraq, to “bring democracy” to people who are simply incapable of understanding what the term “democracy” stands for, Western citizens themselves can easily lose their jobs or to be charged with “hate-mongering”, as the result of them trying to utilize their constitutional right of freedom of speech.

When James Madison had introduced his system of checks and balances, to ensure that the form of political governing in the U.S. would never turn into a dictatorship, he was unaware of the role Medias would be playing, within a context of defining America’s contemporary socio-political realities. This is the reason why he did not include media in his system. However, as we all know today – it is namely America’s mass Media, owned by cosmopolitan money-bags, which control the outcome of political elections in this country. Also, it would never occur to Madison that in the 21st century, American politicians would actively strive to deprive their country of its national integrity as their full-time occupation, by forcibly pushing the doctrine of “multiculturalism” down citizens’ throats. Because today’s America is being officially proclaimed a “multicultural” nation, Madison’s euro-centric concept of checks and balances cannot possibly ensure the continued existence of democracy in this country. And the reason for this is simple – Madison’s concept was meant to be utilized in racially and culturally homogeneous society, where politicians would never be prompted to abuse their offices as the ultimate proof of their allegiance to “ethnically unique” voters, to qualify for reelection, as it is the case in today’s America.

The matter of excessive wealth accumulation, on the part of “people’s servants”, represents a clear and direct danger to the well-being of America, as well as to the well-being of other Western countries. One only need to study the history of the Roman Empire, to realize that today’s America (the Roman Empire of modern times) is following the footsteps of corrupted Romans with utter exactness – just as Roman decadent patricians in high offices, today’s American politicians refer to different forms of sexual, behavioral and biological abnormality among citizens in terms of these people’s “existential uniqueness”. Just as was the case with Roman Empire in time of its decline, the Western realm is being flooded by hordes of barbarians (illegal immigrants from the Third World). Just as prominent Roman patricians in 3rd – 5th centuries A.D., today’s Western politicians are being deprived of their sense of perceptional idealism, while becoming solely focused on becoming ever-more rich, at the expense of allowing their countries to be deprived of its national integrity. Today’s Western societies (especially America) live by the Roman decadent principle – “bread and entertainment”. Nowadays, the more sexually or violently graphic a particular Hollywood movie is, the more it has a chance of becoming a blockbuster among racially and intellectually marginalized crowds. Therefore, one does not have to be a prophet to know what is going to happen to Western civilization very shortly, if promoters of “pluralism”, “liberalism”, “globalism” and “diversity” are not being removed from the position of political power.

The conclusion of this paper can be defined as follows: the contemporary meaning of the term “pluralism” is synonymous to the meaning of such terms as “depravity” and “decadence”. It is only in biologically and intellectually healthy societies, where people can take advantage of being allowed to freely express their opinions. Unfortunately, Western societies can no longer be associated with the notions of health, progress, and culture, because they have been spiritually poisoned by promoters of neo-Liberalism and Globalization.
