Introduction
Dissemination of research findings cuts across all fields of study (New & Quick, 2003).Dissemination plans is necessary in medical research (Gallagher & Christoffel, 2006). The plans also help researchers to properly present their findings to the right audience (Kinder, 1991).This plan is meant to disseminate the findings that will be presented in the research and for publishing and presentation in peer-reviewed sources. The plan will also seek to identify the beneficiaries of the research findings besides coming up with ways on how these beneficiaries will be reached.
Research Findings
The findings in the research include the various types of preoperative education that is offered to patients especially children and how it is administered. The findings also include the ways in which this education is offered and the effect it has on the patients. Some of the conclusions in the research findings dwell on the necessity of offering preoperative education to patients and why it should be encouraged in the medical and surgery professions. The findings also include real life experiences of experiences of patients who have gone through preoperative education and counseling and those who have not. There has been a lot of research on this area. However, this particular research is important considering it has a pediatric element in it. Most of the research that has been carried out before has dwelled on general terms. It is therefore important that children be given the necessary attention as far as surgery is concerned.
End Users
The findings contained in the report will be beneficial to medical practitioners especially surgeons. Some of these end users like surgeons were involved in the research though not fully. They will therefore get the full picture about preoperative education and its impact on postoperative pain. They will gain insights about what patients think of preoperative education as well as their opinions on whether it works or not. Pediatric surgeons who at times assume that children are oblivious of the pain during and after surgery or that, children forget painful experiences without difficulties, will find the findings in the report helpful.
Patients who may be able to access it will be enlightened on the need to demand or request for preoperative education as one of the measures to reduce postoperative pain.
Dissemination Partners
These will be the parties and/or entities that will be critical in helping distribute the findings for the stakeholders to have access on it. These organizations are dedicated to provision of quality medical work hence they will find it useful to access the information in the report. The findings will be availed to individual practitioners, non-governmental organizations as well as well as medical and non-medical organizations. Various government departments that deal with medical matters will also have access to the report.
Communication
The outcomes in the research will be conveyed through seminars and other public forums. The findings will also be availed in the media; both electronic and print. This will ensure wide reach so that medical practitioners from all over the world can also have access to it.
Evaluation
The findings will be evaluated to determine their impact in the medical world. Though there may be no exact measurable criteria on determining success, feedback will be actively sought from those professionals who would have had access to it. All end users who would have come to contact with the report will be requested to send feedback electronically of otherwise to the relevant office for evaluation.
Conclusion
It is important to note that these findings in this report will not be sold. The information will be readily available and free of charge to all interested parties.

The research will use the journal of Orthopaedic Nursing. This journal contains numerous articles that touch on preoperative and post operative procedures. Of more importance is the availability of numerous papers on preoperative education and postoperative pain management. The articles will come in handy while researching on the research topic.
