Multiple Intelligences test is usually used to determine the level of development about the person’s different types of intelligences. It is important to note that such eight bits of intelligence as Kinaesthetic, Linguistic, Logical, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, Musical, Visual, and Naturalistic intelligence is typical for each person, but they can characterize the man’s behaviors, attitudes, and activities in different ways, according to the level of this or that intelligence’s development.
From this point, taking Multiple Intelligences test, a person can learn more about his or her strengths and those aspects of the personality which cannot be developed completely because of the specifics of the person’s intelligence.
According to the Multiple Intelligences test findings, the high level of Linguistic and Intrapersonal intelligences’ development is characteristic for me. These findings can be discussed as accurate, with references to the analysis of my personal experience and life background. Those persons who have developed Linguistic intelligence are characterized by the increased interests in reading, writing, and speaking to provide people with definite information.
I can agree that I am interested in reading, and I value the written word more than any other sources of information. Moreover, it is rather easy for me to concentrate on the text and remember it to reproduce or analyze later. Furthermore, I often choose to present my thoughts and ideas on processes and situations in the written form. That is why this result can be considered as supported with references to my real-life experience.
However, to assess the accurateness of the result on Intrapersonal intelligence is rather difficult because I cannot state that I have habits or inclinations to analyze my strengths and weaknesses regularly or to pay special attention to my feelings and emotions. Moreover, I cannot keep a diary during a long period, but I tried to fix my recollections.
However, the development of Intrapersonal intelligence cannot be observed immediately because this fact can be seen only about different aspects of a person’s behavior. In spite of the fact that I did not focus on these abilities earlier, today I can use this knowledge and contribute to developing my strengths because the ability to evaluate the attributes of personality is an important quality.
High results which are related to the development of Interpersonal intelligence are also characteristic for my personality. I am inclined to agree more with this statement than with the above-mentioned results on Intrapersonal intelligence because I like to spend much time contacting different people.
I can share my interests and information with them and receive feedback. Nevertheless, I agree that various intelligence interacts to form a unique personality. High results about Linguistic, Interpersonal, and Intrapersonal intelligence help me understand myself and people better and, as a result, to communicate with different persons effectively, using oral and written messages. These abilities can contribute to the successful development of my career in the future.
Kinaesthetic, Logical, Musical, Visual, and Naturalistic intelligence are not predominant about my personality, and this fact is supported with references to my hobbies and interests which are closely connected with the fields of public relations, psychology, linguistics, and media. Nevertheless, I cannot reject the fact that different situations make me use my abilities regarding these types of intelligence.
