Beginning of Creation
The bible in the book of Genesis chapter one verse one says that, in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. This means that creation happened during the beginning of time if one was to approach the subject from a religious perspective. According to the biblical theory, there was a time when heaven and earth were non existent. There was also a time when they came into existence. The time between when they were non existent and when they came into existence is the so called beginning (Gonick 10). This is when creation took place. After creating the heaven and the earth, the process of creation took five more days during which God created all the other things that are found in the universe. Creation took place from no particular place. This is because when God created the first thing, there was no existing place where he operated from. Neither the space nor the universe was there. This means that there was no particular place from which God created the first things.
History will be my Judge
This is a phrase that has been used from time immemorial by people in attempt to justify their actions. Most actions by people in positions of authority go into the annals of history. These actions have diverse outcomes that have impacts on the succeeding generations. This implies that the future impacts of someone’s actions are the ones that are used to judge the person. Different personalities are judged differently by history owing to their actions when they were in positions of authority. People like Dr Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi have history on their side, while personalities like Mao Zedong and Josef Stalin are judged harshly by history.
What is real about the Present if it cannot be perceived?
It is hard to perceive the present, which casts doubt about the reality of the present. The present moment is an aspect of time. Time is not real unlike space which is real. This is when the subject is approached from the physical world point of view. The fact that time is not real does not entirely mean that the present is not real. The reality of the present can only be seen when approached from an etheric realm. This is because, in etheric realm, space is considered to be unreal while time is considered to be real. From this realm, time can be perceived because one can move forth and back in time very flexibly. If the present is an aspect of time, then the present is real because it can be perceived from an etheric realm. It is only when the present moment is approached from a physical realm, that its perception disappears and this makes it unreal.
Past versus Substance
Does the past have substance? This is a question that has aroused heated philosophical debates. Just like the present, the past can be perceived from the etheric realm. This is because the past is also an aspect of time which in the etheric realm is considered to be real. If it is possible to move back and forth in time, the past becomes substantial. This is because it is hard to have the present without the past. The present will one day become the past meaning that the substance that is in the present will remain, however, it is its relevance that will disappear. The substance that the present takes into the past still remains a point of reference and that is why the past has a very immense influence of the present and the future.
