Executive Summary of Business Idea
Cinema No Border, ‘CINOBO’ is a new streaming platform specializing in independent and arthouse cinema launched in Greece. The above-mentioned scaffold was developed by movie lovers for movie lovers to improve the quality and quantity of the streaming sector and create the largest independent cinema archive. The podium was developed and launched in 2020, in Athens, Greece. It is the first over-the-top subscription video-on-demand pulpit to stream carefully selected films in high-definition. The platform at the time operates as a theatrical distributor for a few selected films. The core vision has been to make movie theaters accessible to everyone.
Product and Services
The Cinobo streaming pulpit was the first of its kind and was meant to serve Greece and Cyprus. The Greek television industry has been facing financial and managerial issues over the years. The new platform provides an alternative film archive that can entertain movie lovers and generate funds from subscriptions. The platform is an independent service, it features award-winning and hard-to-find videotapes from all over the world.
Market Analysis
Our customer base is very wide both in Greece and Cyprus. People from both nations rely on the same broadcast wavelengths hence the competitive advantage of our streaming podium. Being the first to provide the services, the company controls the market and the rate at which services are offered. We are aware of other international platforms that are more advanced, but the current economic structure of our countries is not stable, considering the stated challenges and our charges are affordable but still generate sufficient profit margins. Our archives are always expanding with fun favorites, classics, and films that are hard to find (Podara & Matsiola, 2022). In Greece where video production has received modest funding, in-house channels managing these programs have advanced and created a platform for our services. The scaffold participates in theatrical distribution and offers free trials for new members which have influenced the fast growth of our customer base.
Goals and Objectives
As mentioned earlier, the Greek television industry has been faced with major issues that have detoxified the streaming services. Launching our platform at a time when the film sector was recording new achievements provided an opportunity to explore and educate viewers across our nations. During the COVID-19 outbreak, our initiative to reach everyone and provide enough entertainment was tested and proven. Although we began the project on a national level, we are determined to expand our services internationally since we believe our services and charges are the most affordable. Through subscriptions and reliable donors, our vision to make the cinema available to everyone will be met.
Management
Our curator is Thodoris Dimitropoulos, an auditor and controller of the guarantee management department at Hellenic Development Bank. He is an expert sales professional with more than a decade in managerial positions within national and multinational organizations and has excellent communication skills and a passion for excellence in customer services. Tasos Melemenidis is the head of programming and acquisition. His knowledge and skills have improved service and product reliability in Cinobo. The managing director is Dafni Bechtsi who is very reliable and informed in management and decision-making.

Therefore, every customer is assured to find a satisfactory distraction.
Product and Service Description
The audio-visual markets continue to expand with the influence of technology and digitalization. Personal distraction is easy to attain over the internet through handsets and computers. Film production has superseded previous expectations as it is among the most profitable and marketable investment opportunities in the current economy. Multitudes of people are always following up on social platforms for content that is within their interests. Creativity and inventive levels are rising with every film that is being released over the internet. Producers and developers are aware that customers have unique tastes, and therefore, the music and videos that are in the market or yet in the lounge are of diverse quality (Podara et al. 2022). Podiums like YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon among others are the most prominent for streaming. Products and services from some of these streaming platforms may require membership while others are public only requiring an internet connection.
The Cinobo platform is similar to other programs like Netflix in providing play-back coverage. Although Cinobo does not promote production practices, it has initiated a streaming series that features different shows in real time. The project is growing its returns with each new member subscribing to the services. Promotions in the form of free trials with unlimited access motivate new members to get involved and participate in self-entertainment. The podium provides high-definition videos that are by the current streaming expectations to improve customer satisfaction. Other international scaffolds observe the highest quality services, to ensure equity in service provision, Cinobo management uses the best updates on their program. The rates at which members pay for services are affordable compared to other leading podiums in the streaming sector. These rates allow more members to join and for generation reasonable returns for the manufacturers and investors. As mentioned earlier, the scaffold continues to expand its customer base and draws closer to achieving its vision.
Competition and Competitors’ Products
In every industry, the aspect of competition is inevitable and the entertainment industry is not exceptional. Companies such as Cinobo face significant rivalry in the market from both local and foreign players. Following the advancement in the level of technology and ease at which consumers can access products and services online, the sector has become more competitive and full of substitute products that meet customers’ needs as well.
Foreign Competitor
Currently, the main rivalry that Cinobo faces is Netflix Company which offers similar products and services in the industry. Netflix is a foreign firm in the country; however, its products are easily accessible through online subscriptions. The main competitive advantage of Netflix entity is its product range. The corporation offers an array of services making it easier for consumers to access several entertainment from a single subscription. Its brand has earned it a significant reputation in the sector hence attracting more subscribers. In addition, the company’s subscription rate is affordable thus making it easier for the majority of clients to purchase its products in the market. Some of the Netflix products include movies, TV shows, series, documentaries, and future films.
Local Competitors
Apart from the foreign firms in the Greek streaming market, Cinobo is facing competition from local television that offers such services to the clients. For instance, Kathimerini TV, Protothema TV, and Skai TV have respective YouTube channels where their clients can access and stream videos. Following their large number in the country, the market share has been reduced significantly. Even though the mentioned providers offer streaming services, Cinobo has managed to penetrate the market accordingly. By opting to configure its target market in both Greece and Cyprus, the company has enhanced its market share unlike most of the channels that concentrate on the local market. Furthermore, despite the availability of Cinobo services in the two countries, other users have the potential to subscribe to the products in other countries such as the United Kingdom. The individuals need to have Greek Internet Protocol (IP) and a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to be able to access the streaming services upon subscription which can be made through a Transferwise debit card. The aspect is facilitating the ease at which potential consumers can access the products.
Substitute Services
In the industry, the key substitute services are TV shows and series provided by local providers. Most TV stations have unlimited programs that do not require monthly or annual subscriptions hence some clients who are unwilling to pay the subscription fee tend to access the streaming services from them. However, the inability of such TVs to offer a reliable array of services, imposes little threat to Cinobo in the market. The Cinobo has managed to be proactive and relevant following its approach of focusing mainly on categorizing its services to meet the desires of various groups of people. Its tactic of providing real-time Greek cinema programs which entail mainly services similar to the Greek international film festivals is making the business organization attract a large audience to watch its products.
Critical Questions Concerning Team Issue
Generally, a company encompasses different groups of associates whose roles and responsibilities impact the performance of the business organization. When forming the Cinobo enterprise, the founding members should have critically thought about key team issues such as management personnel, compensation, skills and knowledge, and other investors. When the mentioned issues are addressed accordingly, the company will have smooth operation thus encountering limited obstacles from the staff members.
Key Management Roles
The team was supposed to think about the key management roles especially the top leadership in the organization. In this perspective, the owners were supposed to design the responsibilities of the individual as well as the skills necessary for the person to undertake the top duties. For instance, formulating clear roles for the regional manager and chief executive officer to ensure each person understands what is expected from them (Spinelli & Adams, 2016). When there is a proper distinction, it is easier to prevent effects such as overlapping roles in the company.
Compensation
Compensation is a crucial team issue that must be addressed at the initial stages of the business. The Cinobo team ought to think about how the respective associates will be compensated based on their involvement and the skills they have in the sector. The payment aspect was to cover even the dividends to stockholders. Having a clear picture of the salary expenses and proper agreement with the people involved, the management will have the ability to minimize possible disagreements that can be caused by reward issues.
