Despite the disparity in fashion, they can all be used for learning. A short story is a narrative that is written with an intent for a specific audience. Poetry, however, has a unique style that usually requires interpretation; in drama, the characters play a different role to make the piece develop a meaning. Nevertheless, people prefer short stories because they are easy to understand and also have an appealing format.

Short stories can be understood without difficulty by many, which makes people prefer them over other genres. They are written in a simple language, and they are usually direct to the point. Additionally, stories have a single direction and use humor to engage the audience. This usually ensures that people are alert at all times. They are also well-written, and this provides the readers with the ingredients of a story and authentic characters. As a result, the audience develops a satisfaction with a narration that takes the readers to the fantasy world, making the story easy to remember, making literature lovers prefer short stories over other genres.

The format of short stories also makes many people prefer it. They flow easily, and the audience can grasp the points of the narrator. Unlike poems that usually require interpretation to understand the context, short stories take a narration point where the speaker uses the introduction to hint at what is to be addressed. Additionally, short stories use a format that leaves the audience in suspense, making the listeners more eager about what the speaker will talk about. Therefore, the poem’s structure makes many people prefer short stories over other genres of literature.

In conclusion, short stories are easy to understand, and their format makes them appeal to numerous people. They use simple language, and stories flow from one point to another. As a result, the introduction summarizes the points that are to be addressed in the piece, and this ensures that limited interpretation is involved. Additionally, the format makes it interesting because they are short, though they are highly delights, and this aspect takes people into the fantasy world. Therefore, many people prefer short stories to poems and play.
