The purpose of this interview is to explore the reasons why employees take sick leave. This interview also aims to identify possible health and safety issues that can create problems in employees’ lives and prevent them from maintaining an acceptable work-life balance. Based on the information collected through the interviews, the research results will be formed. This interview is conducted on anonymity conditions, and any information provided by research participants or interviewees is confidential. The researcher promises not to include in the research any sensitive information that could identify the participant or harm them in any way. The data will be used solely to obtain insight into the causes of the existing problems related to the research topic.

During the semi-structured interviews, respondents will be asked to answer ten questions regarding their sick leave practices during the last three years. After semi-structured interviews, the unstructured interviews will be held, during which the respondents will be asked to tell their stories considering the topic (Barchik, 2016). The researchers will keep one semi-structured and one unstructured interview with one participant during a day to have enough time to get acquainted with every story and give a qualitative assessment of the information received. Participants can contact the researchers by phone or e-mail indicated at the bottom of the page.
