I choose to study medicine because I believe that every individual should contribute to the present and the future by engaging in what they are best at, either through talent or wish to transform society. Specifically, I desire to train in acupuncture and help people manage their pain which even laboratory medicines cannot suppress. Therefore, I plan to study this course due to my personal experiences with acupuncture, because I am a strong believer in the supremacy and magic of natural treatment options, shed light on the patients who have lost hope, and equally enhance my exploration in this healthcare field.
Notably, I yearn to be an acupuncturist due to my personal experiences with the occupation. A few years ago, in fall, I developed a knee complication, whereby I was feeling a lot of pain. Previously, before the time when I had developed this pain, I had no idea about acupuncture. I felt like needles were stitching from the inside of my left kneecap. I had difficulties in walking and decided to visit a doctor. The doctor diagnosed me, and upon realizing that I had no injury and related medical history, he referred me to an acupuncturist immediately. Surprisingly, the pain completely ceased and never came back after three sessions. I was surprised and amazed, and it is since this time that I believe that acupuncture works. I want to help others overcome their problems and have trust in the treatment. I want to be the reason why people among the public will have confidence in the therapy. Therefore, I desire this study because of the individual experience which I have with the practice after helping me recover from severe knee pain.
As mentioned above, I am longing to study acupuncture since I am a staunch believer in the majesty of natural treatment options. I trust that acupuncture, being one of the natural therapies, can treat diseases and health imbalances, apart from developing preventive care. I associate myself with the belief that humans’ spiritual and emotional makeup always impacts our present wellbeing and health. I have seen how acupuncture is rewarding, considering that it makes individuals who have other healthcare defections reignite hope of living. Previously, I was one person who thought that no matter the medications I was on, I would never heal. I know that being in the profession requires both a livelihood and also a love and care commitment. As an acupuncturist, I believe that I can transform our patients’ lives. I understand that being valued as a part of the healthcare system is a pivotal blessing. The patients who I will help normalize their health will appreciate immeasurably, a great pride being a part of the healthcare system giving recovery hope. Connectedly, I wish to be an acupuncturist so that I can shed light and help patients who are going through different hectic healthcare conditions to realize their full health.
Besides, I would like to study acupuncture since I am interested in making authentic and new explorations. Since my first visit to an acupuncturist, the treatment which I received gave me the challenge to study more regarding the relationship between the needles and pain-relieving. The expert inserted needles that were thin into my skin and, specifically, on my knees. The acupuncturist put the needles into my knee skin at different depths as a way of the treatment process. I am undertaking my acupuncture studies to understand and discover the other analogies behind the whole exercise and its relationship with relieving pain.
