Introduction
Whether one runs a major corporation or a small family business, understanding the significance of the key financial processes and transactions within an organization is crucial for enhancing its performance. The key reason for me to apply for the course can be considered a financial one, as well as business-related. Seeing that I am going to start a family business and that our small entrepreneurship is planning to expand by acquiring additional premises to work in, I need the skills that will help me manage my family investments in a wise and efficient manner.

I must also mention that I have developed a range of skills that I consider essential for my further studies and professional growth. Particularly, I have gained impressive leadership skills and learned numerous leadership and management strategies in the process of working as a general manager in the RAZ catering service. Apart from improving my leadership skills, I have learned a lot about efficient communication and conflict management when working as a development manager in the Tamimi Company. The specified qualifications helped me gain a better insight into the production process and the way of distributing roles and responsibilities among the team members efficiently.
Finally, after working as a board member of the Council of Young Businessmen, I learned much about innovative tools for starting a business efficiently and managing it within the environment of high competition rates. The courses in private equity, equity valuation, and financial modeling helped me gain a better insight on the subject matter, yet I feel that I need to explore the financial aspect of a company’s functioning further in order to become competent in this area and lead my family organization to prosperity and success.
Naturally, the process of promoting safety and sustainability within a business setting, at the same time enhancing the production process, was not easy. Planning the company budget can be listed among the most challenging tasks that I had to deal with while being a member of the above-mentioned organizations; particularly, the issue regarding managing risks and evaluating the company’s potential was especially hard.
In addition, the alterations in the target market affected the course of the company’s development; therefore, the slightest external changes had to be taken into account, which was rather tiresome and time-consuming. Finally, the choice of the leadership strategy that could promote a better decision-making approach and keep all the stakeholders involved satisfied was quite hard to make.
Conclusion
In a retrospect, the experience of working in the above-mentioned organizations can be considered essential in my development as a businessman and a leader. Particularly, the fact that I learned to manage conflicts efficiently and negotiate with the parties involved successfully is an important step in my personal and professional development. The specified qualities will help me in my future career, which concerns developing and running my family business successfully. Learning to be a good leader is not an easy task, yet I believe that I will be able to become one soon.
