Fast food restaurants rely on sophisticated methods to teach their personnel how to perform their jobs as efficiently. Some essential training needs include the company’s objectives, diversity skills and teamwork (Adak et al., 2022). These competencies are vital for entry-level workers considering that they foster competitive expertise that enhances performance in demanding jobs (Valentine et al., 2019). These skills also strengthen employees by ensuring their efforts are geared towards achieving the organizational objectives.
I choose these three areas since training new employees about the company’s goals is essential in developing a positive organizational culture considering that familiarity with rules reduces defiance while promoting productivity. Another integral consideration is inclusivity which helps the employees understand how to work and relate well with people from different backgrounds, promoting meaningful engagements (Adak et al., 2022). Additionally, supporting teamwork is vital since it enables employees to collaborate and complete essential responsibilities, enhancing the quality of work.
There will be four weeks of workshop training that will incorporate experts in the fast food industry to share insights concerning the company objectives, diversity and interpersonal engagement. The training will take place in the conference room in the facility to enhance comprehension considering that it will include an experimental approach. By the end of the training, employees’ understanding of the organizational goals and ability to relate well with one another will indicate a successful training.
My experience as a loyal customer at Starbucks has made me realize that the company has invested in employee training. For instance, when there are too many orders on one counter, there will be a swift addition of another barrister to take orders from clients. This action indicates high levels of teamwork and understanding of the organizational objectives. Another critical consideration is localization, whereby people from a specific community are employed in the company to ensure their community needs are met. For instance, a region dominated by people of color will have more black barristers deployed to promote inclusivity.
