Introduction
After examining the impact of business education programs at school on children’s social-emotional development, it was noted that there needs to be more research on this topic. It is seen that the knowledge that children get during the studying process is essential for their further development and future careers. Moreover, educational programs should also include social-emotional development, which provides children with valuable skills, including creativity, innovation, the ability to face challenges, and critical thinking.
Discussion
This article researches the effect of business education programs on social-emotional development among children. The researchers examined the connection between entrepreneurship programs and social-emotional education and their impact on children’s development. The article describes the differences between children’s development with business education and social-emotional development and without it. This research consists of different parts demonstrating the necessity of examining and implementing business education programs and social-emotional development among children. The research proposal includes a literature review indicating the available work on the studied topic. In addition, the literature review provides examples of establishing business education and developing social-emotional skills among children, emphasizing the positive impact of these programs on children’s behavior and future opportunities. However, the literature review showed a gap in research in this area. To address this gap, the research proposal aims to use mixed study methods to examine the question carefully using different approaches. In addition, mixed study methods allow research of the issue from different sides, with the help of interviews, observation, direct interactions, and social experiments, to explore the topic and define its impact and necessity. This mixed study aims to analyze available research and experience and discover new ideas for establishing business education and social-development programs.
Social-emotional skills are crucial for great career opportunities, and these skills might be significantly implemented during school age. Furthermore, combining business education and social-emotional development will increase children’s knowledge and create and improve crucial skills. Establishing entrepreneurship programs and developing social-emotional skills among children will help them to cope with future challenges. This study aims to examine existing research on this topic and emphasize the positive impact of such initiatives on children’s development. In addition, this article indicates which skills might be formed due to the mentioned programs and provides a new vision for establishing programs, including business education and social-emotional development among primary school students. However, only a few studies have researched the impact of business education on children’s social-emotional development, so this study uses different practical methods to examine the issue. That is why the methods of interviewing, observing, direct interaction, and experiments were used during research to explore the topic accurately. The research goal is to propose a further study on this issue to address the lack of information and implemented programs in children’s education.
Conclusion
Considering the examined research on the topic that indicates the positive impact of programs and including practical methods, it was studied that business education programs for children during school age will positively affect their social-emotional development and form necessary skills for the future and the mixed study will fill the gap in the existing scholarship, emphasizing the need for further research on the issue.
