Introduction
The importance of healthcare policy development should be highlighted at the planetary and population levels. The policies in this sphere are focused on improving the implemented models of health care delivery through Advanced Nursing Practices, Accountable Care Organizations, and other structures ensuring the high quality of care.
Discussion
Summarizing the course’s information, it can be stated that the development policies are associated with the Sustainable Development Goals, which are designed for the efficient growth of society in all aspects (Freeman et al., 2018). Thus, the healthcare policy should be efficiently developed in accordance with the changing needs of the community and the population.
One of the recently appeared structures aimed at improving the patient’s experience in healthcare services is the Accountable Care Organization. Today it is estimated that such organizations, under the Affordable Care Act, access and improve the health care delivery indicators (Santos, 2020). The creation of such organizations shows the governmental interest in increasing healthcare quality. Another inquiry that can be observed is the focus on the advanced practice registered nurses improving APRNs. The researchers highlight that the national policy enhances such practices’ licensure and administrative conditions (Barroso et al., 2022). Exploring possible barriers to APRNs improves the functioning of this system in medical organizations.
Conclusion
Promoting optimal healthcare practices is directly connected with the legislative aspects. The varied nursing and primary care models are adapted at the state policy level. Such an approach allows the government to contribute to the improvements of the healthcare sector. For example, such models as Primary Care Behavioural Health centered on improving Managed Care in the organization and helping the medical providers provide patient-centered care (Freeman et al., 2018). Therefore, the healthcare policy and the population’s general welfare are related.
