Individuals communicate in various ways, but writing is undoubtedly a key one. However, it can also be much more than that, as it can be a setting where individuals can figure out or express what they truly believe or think and learn something they did not know (Murtiningsih & Putri, 2020). Moreover, it can be a process that forces people to think differently or put more words into what they already believe.
Writing abilities enable a person to communicate information clearly and informatively within the company. Individuals may grow in their job by improving their communication skills and writing style. I can boldly share my views and ideas in my writing, which is one of my advanced writing abilities. Taking the internet as an example, if you spend 30 minutes browsing, you will discover that most of the information is tasteless and uninteresting. It often occurs because many bloggers are hesitant to include their thoughts in their writing. As a result, when I face this, I use my imagination to offer the same concepts in a novel way. Through courage, I can alleviate my fears and boldly write effectively to express myself.
Poor writing and communication will damage a company’s reputation internally and publicly. The crisis article has noted that lousy writing costs employers up to 3.1 billion dollars annually (Staff, 2012). On the surface, poor writing in a business could appear unimportant, yet it has a more significant impact on that business’s performance. However, it can significantly influence understanding and missed opportunities due to poor individual expression. The second aspect is that four out of five students lack writing skills (Staff, 2012). They lack underlying skills: fluency, topic, convection, syntax, and vocabulary, thus influencing their dissemination of information.
Individuals can improve writing with time and effort, just like any other ability. The cornerstones of effective writing are through, where an individual can outline their views and ideas. Your professionalism and attention to detail will come to your reader when you write in a modest mechanism expressing your views. Therefore, a solid courage foundation can help raise the number of skilled writers and decrease businesses’ losses from poor writing.
