The key theme, topic, and values of the future informative speech are directly related to respect, honor, and recognition of oneself, property, and other people. Such consideration is understood as a respectful attitude towards a particular object, phenomenon, and another person. Often, it can be based on recognizing the characteristics of someone and something, as well as an understanding that one needs to appreciate the surrounding moments and people. Showing respect for oneself, property, and others is also a sign of greatness because only a truly good person can respect and appreciate.

In connection with the moments mentioned above, the message’s primary purpose is to convey the essence and nature of such a concept as respect. Especially today, in the era of “progress,” it is essential to address this concept. It seemed that until recently, duels were fought for the honor of women, and parents were treated with great reverence, but now such things have acquired the status of naive sentimentalities. Nevertheless, people are not robots, and therefore every person will quickly feel insincerity and falseness in ostentatious respect. Probably, people will soon begin to be consumer-oriented towards those with whom they are trying to build relationships.

In my opinion, I am perfectly suited to the role of a speaker who should make a speech about respect as one of the human values. Indeed, I am not an ideal person or a role model, but I always try to treat myself, the people around me, and my things with extraordinary respect. If I stop seeing value in nature and its resources, I will dump tons of garbage into the ocean and buy more than I can eat, easily sending products to the trash. If I stop seeing value in animals, I will make sausage and fur coats out of them. If I stop seeing value in a relationship, I will change “love” to a new one every time I want “butterflies in my stomach” again.

Presenting one’s own and the most “correct” value system for people, as well as following personal ethics, principles, and morals – it is precise because of these moments that respect is the subject of my interests. The experience and trust that allows me to speak about this value are based on my developed respect for others and accurately recognizing merits, accomplishments, personal qualities, and unique features. I accept myself, my things, and other people as they are; I never take a position “above” but only evaluate everyone and everyone equally.

In addition, the topic of respect will be interesting, fascinating, and informative for the audience since its analysis will pave the way to a better life and avoid making fatal mistakes. It is no secret that people do not live in a vacuum; by their nature, they are social beings, and this means that they must contact and interact with each other. It follows from this fact that the well-being and happiness of an individual depend entirely on their attitude to someone and something. In my opinion, the audience will respond positively to this topic and value, take note of some of the data, and use it both in everyday and academic environments.

Primarily, the intentions that I may have concern a deep and comprehensive understanding of myself, my own and someone else’s property, and friends, relatives, and other people endowed with unique and inimitable features that require special treatment. Moreover, studying these points, it would be interesting for me to discover the authentic essence and meaning of the particular value, as well as its signs, features, and ways of manifestation. Furthermore, I think it would be helpful for me to learn about how some people currently perceive such a phenomenon as “respect.” Hence, this information would help me compare opinions in order to help people and myself become more respected and treat others accordingly. Consequently, I will need to research audience perceptions of value and ways that could allow me to instill respect for others.
