“Trauma is the number one public health crisis in our county”
Trauma is an emotional response attributed to past events such as natural disasters, rape, or accident. I agree that trauma is among the crisis that faces public health orientation. The phenomenological outlook of trauma is characterized by an extreme sense of having less power in the form of expectations or beliefs. People who have faced trauma are victims of circumstances. Therefore, such people have fewer self-defense mechanisms, and their life direction has disappeared. It also increases the chances of feeling low self-esteem hence making them have a shuttered autonomy. Many people have trauma developmental problems such as stress, violent behaviors, low self-worth, and differential ecological outlook. To make such negativity disappear from their minds, they are forced to self-reclaim in drug abuse or other wrongdoings. Trauma has made others commit suicide, and some have ended up in prison. It is fundamental for the country to treat people who have faced trauma by reducing the repercussions.
The Christian view of how to seek emotional well-being
Many people are aligned according to their spiritual conformity or their cultural understanding. Christianity has a major role in ensuring that people have a good understanding of their well-being. As a Christian, I can ideologically posit that various religions work towards curbing trauma in one way or the other. For instance, in case of a natural disaster, Christians work towards housing the affected families or giving them basic needs. In so doing, the Christians are trying to reduce the chances of such families having mental problems. The role of the Christian community is to ensure people are governed by good thoughts and helping those that seem to deviate from the spectrum of well-being.
