The major value adding activities in the company fall under three major categories, professionalism, effective and affordable services. In order to meet the needs of the clients the company offers professional services, professionalism in offering the services adds value to clients because they trust that when their case is handled by a professional person it is easier to succeed that when handled by non professional. Affordable costs, when the clients know that the services are affordable they are attracted since one can not request for a service that he or she can not afford (CMA Canada, 1999).

Effectiveness, customers tend to trust more effective services and when they are assured that a product or service is effective then they are attracted to the service. These three major factors that make up the mission and vision of the firm are the main value adding factors of the firm. Through these three major factors the firm has gained a competitive advantage in the market and has maintained and attracted more clients to the firm (X-Copper Legal Services, 2008).

The company’s value chain is comprised of several factors that are the strength of the firm. First the firm offers professional services that are affordable and effective. This is one of the strengths of the firm that gives it a competitive advantage in the market. On the other hand the clients or the buyer power is high this is because of the kind of services provided by the firm that encourages most of them to request for the services. The client’s power is maintained by value adding services provided by the firm (X-Copper Legal Services, 2008).

Conclusion

Competition is still high in the market; this is because there are many legal firms that have been set up to provide similar services. But though there is competition the firm has managed to stay ahead because of the quality and value adding services that the firm provides to its clients. But since competitors try always to beat the company it should be focused on the attraction and retention of the customers in the firm through development of new innovative strategies (X-Copper Legal Services, 2008).

In conclusion the firm has managed to maintain its value chain in a better position through its high quality services provided. It is because of this that the company has survived in the competitive market and it continuous to attract more clients.
