The proposed game is a first-person zombie shooter taking place in the medieval period. The idea was inspired by Valve’s Left4Dead game series and Korean TV series called Kingdom. It will be an online game requiring five people to travel from objective A to B fighting through hordes of zombies using medieval weapons. Each chapter will consist of six episodes with a starting point and destination point in the form of a small village or a castle. The chapters will differ in the overall context, map features, and places, where there will be different kingdoms of the middle ages, such as Song Dynasty, Roman Empire, or German Holy Empire.
The main five characters will differ in personality features depending on the chapter, but the core mechanics will be similar. Each character will be free to choose the playstyle, where one can become an archer, a shield wielder, a two-hand weapon holder, or a spear fighter. These weapons will be available during the episodes, and they will determine whether a player will be a durable melee fighter or a ranged shooter. Along the predetermined path of each episode, there will be hordes of zombies spawning at specific points.
The last episode of each chapter will always be defending or holding a position, such as a castle or a village. In order to make the game more challenging, special zombies will be implemented, which are rare and more dangerous. They will take a form of an infected and deformed animal, such as a tiger, an elephant, a wolf, or an eagle. In addition, similarly to Left4Dead, versus mode will also be available, where the second team will be able to play as these special infected animals, which spawn throughout each episode. The game will not be pay-to-win, but the overall income will come from game sales, DLCs, and in-game cosmetic purchases. The game will actively implement various cultural features of each chapter selected kingdom.
