The vice president has failed to manage change and innovation in the firm. He mistreats his employees such as Michael Bolton, Peter Gibbons, and Samir Nagheenanajar. This film explains how this leader has failed to promote and manage the best organization changes in the company. The company uses old equipment. This situation affects the level of business performance. This weakness does not support innovation at the company.

The other challenge is the inability to understand human behaviors. Every two people will portray different values and behaviors. This fact explains why every leader should identify and understand every person’s behavior in an organization. The film explains how the leader has failed to identify and support the behaviors of every employee. Some employees have different cultural values and behaviors such as Samir Nagheenanajar. This situation explains why the company is unable to realize its goals. Bill’s inability to mentor his employees depending on their career goals and expectations has affected the company’s performance.

The third topic is leadership. The film explores why the kind of leadership at the organization affected its performance. The company’s leaders did not support the employees’ goals and needs. The leaders did not mentor the employees in order to realize their goals. Leaders should engage their workers in every decision-making process. The firm did not allow the employees to present their problems in a better manner. This behavior killed the workers’ morale and eventually affected their contributions to the company. The employees became unhappy because the working environment was unfriendly.

The film goes further to explain why most of the employees became bitter. The employees decided to destroy the firm. The organization was dismissing most of its workers without any valid explanation. The leaders did not address the challenges and problems affecting the employees. This practice affected the company’s performance. The employees destroyed the firm because of the poor leadership strategies.

The managers should have applied the best concepts and theories to develop synergy and improve organizational performance within the office. The firm should have established the best human resource department (HRD) to handle every issue affecting the employees. The department should solve every problem and support the employees. The second approach is to establish the best working conditions. The leaders should have encouraged the employees to work as a team. The approach can help the company address the challenges affecting every worker. The company should hire the best leader and vice president who can motivate and empower the employees.

The third method is to apply the best leadership models such as the transformational theory. The managers will use the theory to mentor, empower, and motivate their employees. This approach will ensure every employee focuses on the targeted goals and objectives. These three practices will ensure the employees focus on the company’s goals. The employees should also work as teams in order to address every problem affecting the workplace.
