In the case of the Coral Divers Resort, factors such as competition, demographics, technological advancements, and market conditions have direct implications for its competitiveness in the Caribbean scuba diving industry.

According to Chermack, the success of any business venture requires political goodwill and stability (45). A country that experiences political instability not only scares away investors but also leads to capital flight. It has remained highly ethical in its relations with rival business organizations.
