Introduction
The development of educational programs in schools is significant because it has a considerable impact on how children will develop and what exactly they will be taught. The process of developing and evaluating educational materials and activities is complex and responsible, as it must correspond to the results and objectives of the curriculum (Freeman, 2017). Although the development and evaluation of training materials and activities are not easy, there are still certain aspects that must be respected.
Planning of the Learning Activities and Materials
When planning training events, it is necessary to understand exactly what these events will be and what results should be achieved. Moreover, one needs to determine what kind of experience the teacher would like to convey to students, what practice to implement, and what to achieve (Tomlinson & Masuhara, 2018). Teachers should plan how lessons will be conducted and what students will do before, during, and after classes. Tutors should think over the homework that will help consolidate knowledge (Xie et al., 2017). As ideas for developing the curriculum, I would introduce modern technological capabilities that would increase the involvement of students in the learning process. Educational activities and materials are determined through the joint work of teachers and professionals in the field of education and are also evaluated by the commission according to certain criteria (He et al., 2017). They should be consistent with the objectives of the curriculum in what exactly and how students will be taught.
The Role of School Leaders
According to the introductory provisions on leadership, imagination, initiative, and hard work are very important for the successful development of training programs. As a school leader, I would use each element for the benefit of students since the combination of these factors is essential to create a truly effective training program that will help students develop. Imagination is necessary for the program to be engaging, age-appropriate, and able to attract the attention of students. The initiative is essential to work on the compilation of programs and to take an active part in this (Escriva-Boulley et al., 2018). Hard work is necessary to create an effective learning model and constantly improve and develop it.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the development of programs and materials for teaching is significant so that students can learn new and exciting things. The work on programs requires experience and knowledge as it is an essential and responsible process. In addition, leadership qualities are needed that allow the creation of a training program that is not just spectacular and challenging but also interesting and fascinating for students.
