Further, the course teaches numerous ethical issues that significantly impact business. The most fundamental issue in the course is maintaining trust and integrity in every business. Other issues in the course are ensuring compliance with guidelines, accepting diverseness, and making appropriate decisions. Lessons learned in this course will significantly impact my career; it will provide me with more employment opportunities due to the high demand for people with business ethics. In addition, it will help me rationalize if behaviors at the workplace are ethical or unethical. Since I am always concerned about other people’s welfare, I would like to study more about health and safety in the workplace, a topic in the business ethics course.
Management and Organizational Behavior
The management and organizational behavior course has taught me to understand people, their skills, abilities, and motivation. Since I will be dealing with diverse people in my profession, the course has provided managerial skills that will help me align with the organization’s goals. Further on, I will apply the skills from this course in the workplace to ensure that I have good communication with the management to have minimal conflicts. For instance, this course has taught me the right channels I should use to communicate with senior management at the workplace. Although the course has many topics, I found conflict management very interesting. Therefore, after graduation, I would like to study conflict management further. This topic will enhance my knowledge of how organizational conflicts are handled without single-handedly depending on the management.
Business Analytics and Decision Making
Business analytics and decision-making courses have significantly affected my profession because they have taught me to make better, more appropriate decisions using data analysis. In addition, the course has taught me skills of understanding consumer behavior, gaining insight that concerns competitors, identifying market trends, optimizing operations, and measuring goals against accomplishments. I will apply data analysis skills acquired from the course to help the company that hires me to navigate tough times. Using data analysis to navigate tough times in an organization ensures timely, appropriate decisions are made to improve financial performance. Most of the topics in this course are interesting, but after graduation, I would like to study in-depth the topic of predictive analytics. An in-depth study of predictive analytics will help me forecast financial performance for a company more accurately and provide solutions to make it better.
Managerial Economics
The managerial economics course has significantly impacted my profession because it has taught me economic theory and concepts that help develop logical decisions. In addition, the course has given me the capability to bring certainty to managerial decisions by estimating special knowledge and managing uncertainty with technical information. I will ensure that the organization’s economic goals are achieved with these skills. I will apply lessons learned to this course in my profession to provide helpful information for future planning and financial decisions through management techniques and special knowledge. Additionally, I will use economic theories learned in the course to derive insights into the issue or problem being faced by the company that will hire me. The course has numerous topics, but I would like to supply and demand theory after graduation. This theory will help me understand the insight that determines the pricing of products in the market.
Accounting for Decision Making
Accounting for decision-making course has taught me to make decisions using actual data. In addition, knowledge acquired from the course will help me study trends and the effects caused by previous decisions. The course mainly bases its decisions according to a particular organization’s trends and actual data. Due to this, the course has taught me how to develop more detailed operational decisions such as purchases and inventory required by an organization. Lessons learned from this course will help me in my profession to make accurate cash flow forecast that is required when making decisions. Further on, the course will help me develop trends charts using historical accounting data of a company in my career. After graduation, I would like to learn about mergers & acquisitions further. Merger & acquisitions is a topic in the course, and it will help to understand evaluations done during a purchase of a company.
Strategic Corporate Finance
The strategic corporate finance course has positively impacted my profession because it taught me monetary management, financial forecasting, credit administration, investment appraisal, and budgeting. In addition, the course has taught me how to assess if the company’s long-term assets are worth it for investors. Further on, the lessons learned in the course will help predict stocks. Additionally, I will use the skills of this course to prepare a personal budget, which will help me evenly distribute my earnings without experiencing personal financial crises. We have covered numerous topics in the course, but I would like to study managing risks further after graduation. This topic will enhance my knowledge of some high-risk places I can get by stocks or insurance plans. Therefore, this course is significant in my life due to the skills it has provided me in handling finances.
Strategic Marketing
The strategic marketing course has equipped me with skills that will help me create highly profitable products and services for the organization. The course starts with conducting a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis, a market analysis of the consumers as well as existing trends. Other skills I have acquired in the course are ways of creating: marketing objectives and evaluating the environment where an organization is located. As an aspiring entrepreneur, I will apply lessons learned from this course to create optimal products and services for my target market. Further on, I will use the skills from the course to perform market analysis and make the appropriate decision needed for products to have a competitive advantage. After graduating, I would like to study further marketing strategy because it will help me enhance my knowledge of attracting and retaining customers in my business.

A strategic management course helps in focusing on organizational goals and objectives. The course has provided me with new traditional topics that I will use in my profession. Some of the strategy topics provided by the course are business models, organizational transformation, global strategy, and boards &corporate governance. I will apply the lesson learned from this course during functional strategy to develop a distinctive competence that will offer an organization a competitive advantage. In addition, I will use the skills acquired from the course to create a strategic marketing model that will increase profit in the organization that will hire me. After graduating, I would like to study further on organizational transformation topics because it will enhance my knowledge of how to turn losses to profit within a short time.
