Studying human nature and analyzing people’s behavior has always been fascinating to me, and psychology is the field that can allow me to gain a broad knowledge about the topic. Sociology also represents the science with the tools to collect data and analyze the information about a specific subject and use it for research and educational purposes. Psychological-Sociological FND is an excellent opportunity to learn all the necessary aspects of people’s mentality and society. Therefore, this paper aims to describe my expectations from the course and my particular learning aspirations.
Firstly, I want to start by improving my communication abilities, including writing and speaking skills, since this is significant in each scholarly area. Moreover, one of the most exciting topics for me is the history of educational psychology and how the overall American Education correlates with the sociological findings (Urban et al., 2019). There are numerous possibilities for improving the current educational system, and I strive to learn how to organize the process and what changes to make to increase the effectiveness and productivity of the process. In addition, I expect to get an insight into how the system of motivation works and how to implement it in the interaction with the students and keep them interested in the subject.
Overall, during the course, I wish to gain the most comprehensive knowledge and information to integrate into the classes and communicate with the students effectively. Since my aspiration is to be a qualified specialist, I expect to understand how to apply the knowledge in real life to get successful results. Thus, I hope this course will correlate with my interest in psychology and provide me with everything necessary tools to develop professional skills.
