Introduction
This refers to an association that is concerned with student affairs so that they can do their best in class work and also be efficient in providing their services to the country. The career services provide support, information, and counseling to students who wish to know more about careers. Therefore the program allows the student to develop an academic and extraordinary program that will be able to support and enhance their career interests.
Essay Body
One is able to get information about self-help, the personality style, the majors, undergraduate and graduate schools; there are the labor market trends and the career option. The services that are provided in this program include career counseling, interest assessment, presentations, information about the majors and careers, a career resource library, and the preparation for the interview. There is a need to have proper training in these fields so that one will know how to go about any of the needs that arise like.
For example, if one has been called for an interview, then there is a need to have knowledge on how to go about an interview that is having knowledge on how one should dress and present him or herself in the interview room and also know on the questions that are expected from the people conducting the interview. With this knowledge, then it becomes easy, as one will not have problems, as he or she will answer the questions correctly. (David, 2000)
There is also the monthly career newsletter that is given; there is resume review, there are practice interviews, there are currently part-time and full-time job listings, there are the career connections job listing services, and there are the fall and spring career fairs. All these services are provided to career students. The career students require having full-time in college so that they can do both the practical work and the theory part.
This is of importance because they need to get the right understanding and therefore be able to offer their services adequately in the nation. Therefore the need to have full-time enables this student to have enough knowledge on how to face the challenges that are laid before him or her. Without proper training then one is able to encounter problems when in the field, and therefore the work is not done correctly and thus these students require humble time so that they can be able to have all that is expected of them.
A student has been in college for the required time knows things that he or she could not be able to get when given a short time and thus they have time to ask questions to their tutors, and from the answers, they get then they are able to know the areas that requires much concentration. Through interaction with other students then one will be able to learn from them. This is because there are things that one cannot get from the tutors, but with enough time in college, then the things that are learned are many. (David, 2000)
The UHD has to make sure that even if other things are affected, like those with families, they will not have enough time, then they need to offer sufficient time so that no regrets of being a failure. The activities that are taught in the career programs are very important, and therefore one should know them correctly because they are part of that person’s life in working place and also in interaction with others.
The students should be involved in other activities in the college like joining organizations and other activities so that such a student is ready to do anything that will be of benefit to him or her and thus the nation will not have to face challenges of students who are helpless this is because even if one is not good in-class work then he or she can be good in another field and that is why students are encouraged to have time for other practices, and this can only be achieved if the students are given time.
The career students get more information on a personal basis, and that one knows what is excepted of him or her and therefore the students know that they are expected to help the society in one way or another. These students need thorough training so that they can be able to provide the best services that are required in the country and therefore even if they have to lose in some areas they need to gain in their training so as to have the expected knowledge. (David, 2000)
Students having full time in college is important because they can be able to have relations with others and from these then one is able to develop the weak points. Having enough time enables a student to have knowledge of other things that they could not have known like for example, they can have time to be trained on how to be a volunteer in the society and thus such people will be able to provide the services that are important.
This center will foster the development of the individual student, and also, there will be the development of leadership opportunities for the students. Therefore such a student will be able to know how to lead others by providing the necessary measures that are required, and therefore such a student will all the time be able to offer the best services to the country. Career students are involved in that fields that require extra concentration, and therefore the need to have full time will help them to have knowledge that will enable them to apply in their activities.
Conclusion
Student careers need to have extra time so that they can develop the knowledge that is given to them and from such then one will be able to be an important person in the country. Even if they have less attention to other activities, there is a need to have concentration on this field because it will mark how the person’s life will be because most of the delicate things that are needed by an individual are taught in this field.
