The ‘High N’ application is one of the greatest innovations in the nightclub industry. It will help people from different cities in the U.S to identify various night entertainment joints. The application will have a list of available establishments in different cities. It will provide the users with information about the locations of these nightclubs.
The technology will also help one navigate the streets if they happen to get lost. A critical analysis of the application reveals that it will provide the user with information regarding the maximum capacity, security set-up, and fees charged by the listed nightclubs.
Customers using the application will be able to choose the nightclubs that offer maximum security and affordable rates (Henkes and Crecca 12). After selecting a certain joint, the technology will provide the user with additional information concerning its operations and the products it sells.
The application has a function that enables the client to book a table in advance. To this end, the user is provided with a reservation code that will be shown to the management of the company. The application will also enable one to purchase liquor and other products.
High N will run on Google Play Store. For gadgets operating on Microsoft and ITunes technology, the application will be available on Apps Store. As a result, one can use a smartphone, a tablet, or a laptop to access the services provided by the technology.
The application can also be used to book special occasions, such as birthday parties. When one is using this technology, they will not need to wait for long to be served. Finally, the application will retail at low prices. As such, it will be affordable to many users.
Analyzing the Nightclub Industry in the U.S
According to a report by IBIS World, revenues generated from the bar, taverns, and nightclub industry in the U.S is expected to exceed 24 billion Dollars in 2015 (“Statistics and Facts on the Bar & Nightclub Industry in the U.S” 12). An overview of the industry shows that the sale of beer and ale will be 42% of the total revenue.
The sale of distilled spirits will account for 30.6% of cash flow in the industry (“Top 100 Revenue Generating Nightclubs, Bars & Lounges in the U.S” 1). Based on the statistics, one can deduce that the industry is performing well.
In spite of the positive performance, the industry is facing a number of problems. One of them is the high cost of table services (“Statistics and Facts on the Bar & Nightclub Industry in the U.S” 5). Other challenges include long queues in the waiting bays and poor customer service.
Players in the industry need to come up with solutions to these challenges to enhance the performance of their businesses. The proposed application can be used to address these problems. The reason is that most of the challenges revolve around customer service, which can be improved using the application.
The Value of the ‘High N’ Application
The value of the application will be determined on the basis of the services that customers using it receive in the nightclubs. To start with, the flow of customers into the night joints will improve. In addition, there will be a reduction in the amount of time that clients wait to be served. It will provide information on the capacity of different clubs at various times of the day. The information will be updated on a daily basis. As a result, the user will know whether or not a certain entertainment joint is fully occupied.

Some of the places that the developers of the application are targeting include Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, San Francisco, and New York. Accessing users from these regions will assure a rapid growth of the business. The cities have a vibrant night life (Blossom 23). Miami attracts many people because of its beach climate.
It also has some of the best nightclubs in the U.S. Las Vegas is known for its many entertainment joints. People from different parts of the world visit the city just to have fun. Los Angeles is a business hub. It attracts business persons of different origins from around the world. San Francisco and New York also attract people because of their business environment and the large population in the cities.
New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas have a vibrant economy. The cities also have some of the best clubs in America. When establishing any business, such factors as the population of people and the economy of the region should be taken into consideration.
The application will perform well in the cities because of the business climate in the region, especially the ease of running nightclubs (Blossom 3). The application will serve the many people who visit the cities’ nightclubs on a regular basis. In the long run, the returns from the technology will rise with an increase in the number of users.
Advantages and Disadvantages of the Application
The ‘High N’ application has a number of strengths. It is a unique type of application. As such, competition will be minimized. The application will save the user a lot of money. Apart from money, the technology will also save time and efforts used searching for nightclubs. It will also provide timely and reliable information as required by the user (Gupta, Seetharaman and Raj 861).
Some of the disadvantages associated with the application include the high amount of capital required for the startup. The marketing process will use a lot of money.
The cost of employing promoters who will work in different clubs is another disadvantage (Gupta, Seetharaman and Raj 862). Covering all the nightclubs in the cities will also be time consuming. Finally, the application will require fulltime administrators to update the information on a daily basis.
