In the healthcare industry, competition is very stiff meaning that the maintenance of high standards would give a healthcare company an advantage. Even with a professional staff, low standards would scare away potential customers, as well as sponsors. It is therefore advisable that any healthcare organization maintains high standards of service. This would enhance patient access to quality services and would facilitate customer choice through market-based competition. Furthermore, high standards would encourage medical innovation, which would further attract many customers to an organization. Through high standards, experienced staff would be in a position to diagnose diseases easily. This would improve human health. It is also noted that maintaining high standards would reduce the costs of healthcare.

This is because higher standards would enhance the innovation of new medicine. An organization must maintain high standards since it would guarantee medical integrity. Integrity is an important aspect of any business since it would help in creating trust among customers. An experienced staff without integrity would engage in behaviors that would scare away potential customers. Customers are the backbone of any business. Therefore, the organization must always come up with strategies aiming at maintaining high standards. In the healthcare industry, customers are always after quality, not quantity. Therefore, maintaining high standards would be the perfect strategy to attract more customers, as well as sustain the existing customers. In this regard, the organization must acquire the latest equipment and employ the most successful technology in offering services to customers. The leadership approach must also be advanced to maintain high quality (Speece, & Pinkaeo, 2002).

To achieve high standards, the organization must have a well-trained workforce. The quality of staff matters when it comes to delivering services. Scholars observe that the healthcare sector would be more profitable if the companies train their staff well. Management scholars in the field of healthcare observe that the skills and characters of professional staff would inspire the company to achieve its organizational aims and objectives. In one of the recent researches conducted in the US, it was found out that the skills of employees contribute to the profitability of the company. However, indeed, professional staff would only be of benefit to the company not to the customers. That is why it is ranked second in this analysis. It should be noted that high standards go hand in hand with professionalism. An employee who understands the market well should manage the organization. Nevertheless, the organization must maintain integrity, by observing high medical standards set by the international and local medical agencies (Weng, & De-Run, 2010).

Among the three factors, observation of cultural issues is ranked third. This is because cultural diversity would not exist if high standards were not maintained in an organization. It is factual that cultural diversity is an issue that could threaten the stability of an organization. The views of each group should be observed before coming up with important decisions. For instance, the management should always incorporate the views of the community in its managerial plan. In an Islamic populated region, the company should understand that religious beliefs play an important role as far as operational practices are concerned. In this regard, the company should come up with two separate clinics, one of them offering services to men while the other specializing in treating women. However, professionalism and high standards are important (Stock, & Hoyer, 2005).
