The key premise in this instance is to understand that the military settings are completely different from the civil conditions. It might be difficult to disclose hazardous and unethical behavior in many situations. However, if you’ve experienced this conduct firsthand several times, you’re part of a system that encourages risky behavior. This leader put the patients under his care in danger of serious sickness. As a patient, he showed no regard for them. Even if the military scenario is dangerous and subject to stringent rules, especially in terms of disobedience and defiance, I would report it.
The importance of cooperation and mutual commitment to patient safety should be emphasized in communications with the hospital director. When one of the team members, particularly the team leader, is exposed to unprofessionalism and disdain for their position, the entire patient care system suffers. This is obviously improper in a military situation. Patient care in the military is more complicated than ever before, owing to a variety of circumstances. Through communication and teamwork, medical teams strive to offer safe, optimum patient care with good outcomes. When the manager permits himself to be unconcerned about this, his competency is brought into doubt.
