Introduction
One of the most acute issues faced by modern societies is the unequal distribution of food. While many businesses and wealthy people cannot limit their food waste, low-income persons struggle and need help finding something for their children to eat. In Kennesaw, food insecurities are a problem that requires specific consideration, and food pantries and a non-profit organization named Food Tank contribute greatly to ensuring that everyone has access to healthy food.
Food Tank and Other Food Pantries
During local emergencies or individual challenging circumstances, food pantries increase access to food and maintain diet security and quality. This approach helps tackle food inequalities and somehow contributes to the reduction of poverty rates. As for a specific example, I would like to discuss the effort of Food Tank. According to the organization’s website, Food Tank “is for farmers and producers, policymakers and government leaders, researchers and scientists, academics and journalists, and the funding and donor communities to collaborate” and reduce food inequalities.” This organization receives donations and uses them for ethical and effective purposes.
Thus, they state: “more than half of our research budget comes from individual donations like yours—so that we don’t need to offer advertising and our reporting can remain completely non-biased” (Food Tank). As a result, it is possible to say that collaborative work and sincerity of motives can help indifferent organizations and people make this planet a more equal and better place.

Conclusion
To conclude, I would like to say that we have hope because numerous people are not indifferent to solving the problem of unequal distribution of food. The contribution of food pantries cannot be overestimated – these organizations help those in challenging financial situations not to stay hungry. As for Food Tank, this non-profit company creates and inspires change to achieve a safe community of nourished and healthy eaters.
