Introduction

Providing information about the health of patients in the database is one of the key points for successful treatment. In addition, the work of the nurse in this scenario is to develop information retrieval and reporting methods to support patient safety.
As a computer scientist in nursing, Lisa must understand the life cycle of various projects related to research, data analysis, software development, and implementation of computer science tools. To do this, it is important to have the ability to plan, manage and execute these projects (Hebda et al., 2018). Thus, her use of informatics can lead professionals to success and implement processes to improve patient outcomes. This improves the level of patient care in all areas of the hospital.
However, the use of informatics in the field of staffing and payroll for health workers remains equally important. The nurse manager is responsible for planning the department in her work, which requires the electronic distribution of the schedule and duties for faster information of the staff (Hebda et al., 2018). At the same time, Liza electronically calculates the wages of all the staff of the two departments, which requires care and caution.
The responsibility of a nurse manager is high and requires many skills. First of all, providing data and research results to inform doctors and other medical personnel lies in the accuracy of entering data into the database (Jouparinejad et al., 2020). Any mistake when entering information into computer programs can significantly worsen the patient’s condition and lead to irreversible consequences. Moreover, Lisa is responsible for the electronic work schedule in the medical institution. All compliance and violations of the rules by the staff are noted in special programs, which helps to improve the attitude towards the patient and the treatment process.
