Apple Inc. and its products are an example of sustainable innovation. This type of innovation involves the development of something new, meeting economic, environmental, and, most importantly, social requirements (Ooms, Cosmina, and Roijakkers, 2021). The dizzying success of Apple at the time of its opening is because it fully complied with societal requirements. The era of rapid development of technology set the goal for companies to focus on innovations.
An improved version of Apple’s first personal computer became a bestseller, which ensured the company’s solid entry into the history of technology development. Rapid growth followed as the company began to respond to the public demand for a fast and compact mobile phone. From now on, despite some setbacks, like in 2016, the company is returning to sustainable development. Falls do occur intermittently, yet Apple manages to stay in alignment with societal demands. The innovation cycle is repeated for Apple and on a micro scale, one can be created for each product, tracking its success. Despite some setbacks, Apple learns from its mistakes and continues to bring new innovative technologies to the world. The main secret lies in the strong public approval that has propelled Apple to the stage of the most recognizable brand.
