Recruitment Overview and Benefit of Internationalization
Great attention should be paid to international student recruitment process because this process plays increased importance for strategic enrolment goals and for meeting the growing tendencies of encouraging the campus diversity. For many educational establishments, the international recruitment market is a step forward to integrating the global arena.
This market is beneficial for institutions and, therefore, the recruiting resources should be carefully targeted for increasing the cost-effectiveness of the results. Regarding the case of international students recruitment from such African countries as Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, our university can significantly benefit from entering the African student recruitment market in terms of meeting quality standards and facing existing problems.
In addition, the international educators can receive a valuable experience of cooperating with students with various cultural, political, and social backgrounds. In this respect, aside from financial advantages as well as greater opportunities for cash injections, our university can be significantly expanded in economical, cultural, and educational terms.
Benefit of internationalization also lies in widening the relationship with different countries and building a favorable environment for developing a solid platform for enhancing the quality of education. Experience exchange also matters when it comes to working out effective academic strategies. Apart from financial benefits, there is also a privilege of building diplomatic relationships with culturally diverse countries.
Emerging Trends in Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe
The program of student recruitment in the identified countries has revealed certain positive results. Hence, due to the development of the SADS training protocol, there is a strongly developed framework sustaining quality and assurance of all educational provision in Namibia. The cooperation between two institutions, therefore, can result in greater maintenance and determination of higher education.
The relations are strengthened by the Southern African Development Community. It encourages sponsoring students who plan to study abroad. The education training protocol is a proof of it. Our country gave 402 provision letters and 10 admission letters to encourage students from Namibia to study at our university. About 4000 leads were received from students.
Our university plans to cooperate closely with Lesotho for the purpose of returning favorable relationship with the country and renew relationship between these two educational establishment. This partnership will be economically and financially beneficial for our establishment and the country in general; this is also a chance for developing an effective strategy for quality education.
The basic approach is directed at encouraging sustainable economy and quality of education. In the course of student recruitment program, 6 students have been enrolled for the university, and 5 students have been admitted. More than 55 leads were also received.
Similar educational strategies are used for integrating the process of student recruiting in Swaziland. The internationalization can significantly improve the practice of teaching and learning in both countries through the implementation of adaptive techniques to communicating with international students.
In particular, both countries should realize the importance and role of higher education training that can be achieved through active cooperation and regulation of the educational reforms at the international level.
In addition, the acceleration of strong relationships between countries can foster the creation of multi-staged forms of education where students can gain education in different countries and benefit from international communication.
In addition, the establishment of diplomatic relationships between the universities can greatly contribute to determining non-racialist movement and recognizing the previous experience of international cooperation. While calculating the results, Botswana has admitted 19 students from Swaziland, 3 provisional letters, and 134 leads.
Discussing the educational tendencies in Zambia is also crucial because this country has a relatively law level of alternative employment and insufficient qualification level. In this respect, the recruitment process can significantly improve the situation.
Though the number of enrolled and admitted students is not high, the progress is still tangible. 2 students were enrolled, 1 letter has been this year, but the students will come to study next year, and there 3700 leads. Cooperation with Zimbabwe is also crucial for our countries and we have already enroll two students and a similar number was admitted. 1700 leads were marked.
In total, we have 8 students enrolled, have admitted 37 students with qualifications. The number of personal admissions amounts to 405 students. Leads figures is 9589. These impressive numbers are sufficient for continuing the international student recruiting.
In whole, the main purpose of our plan is to improve social and economic conditions of the country through enhancing itself as an African educational establishment with an international and regional position. Specifically, the university can provide excellence and impeccability in delivering learning standards and proving creative, talented and confident graduates.
It also seeks to advance understanding and knowledge through prioritizing the importance of research and practice. Finally, the establishment aims to accelerate social and economic development through high engagement with government, business, and society.
Exploring New Opportunities
Due to the fact that our university strives to enhance research environment through the implementation of technological innovations and effective institutional support services, particular reference should be made to advancement of technical level of classroom and overall research equipment within our university. Our private establishment should introduce more sophisticated methods for seeking and exploring information so that international students are encouraged to carry out independent research.
The main merit of engaging technological solutions lies in introducing a powerful tool for controlling the academic performance and monitoring the information exchange. Such a perspective can help our university to meet its values in a more effective way.
Hence, technological advancement can create a favorable ground for developing a holistic environment for students through the establishing a number of social, cultural, learning and recreational opportunities. This implementation can also increase the academic potential and students’ personal growth.
Conclusion: Expected Outcomes

Given the fact that this is our first experience in recruiting students from other countries, the results seem to be impressive.
Specifically, being responsive and receptive is beneficial because it contributes to the globalization process and provides more opportunities for recruiting a highly qualified international staff.
In addition, the internalization process also contributes to increasing and promoting social responsibility and leadership in reacting to social problems and issues. Our university funding can greatly contribute to expanding the country relations at the international level.
Aside from social and economic benefits resulting into the recruitment process, there is also a cultural aspect that positively influences that situation at our university. In particular, the institution can ensure that the indigenous values, diversity, and cultural heritage forms are particular important for building an organizational and academic life.
Recognition of cultural diversity also contributes greatly to proclaiming equal opportunities and non-discrimination policies based on ethnic, gender, national, and religious characteristics. Finally, cultural freedom and equality can also be influential in terms of building self-governing structures and shaping independent tools for responding to societal needs.
In general, the established process is a coherent and transparent decision-making plan requiring full participation in developing the institution and increasing its economical, social, cultural, and market potential. This program will definitely be rewarding in terms of increased quality and effectiveness for all institutions engaged into the internalization process.
