With the developed state of information technology, the marketing strategies have been made efficient and more productive today than in the 20th century. Essentially, internet marketing has supported these attributes of IT and incorporated them in improving sales, and research techniques especially regarding data collection (Du 2). In this respect, this memo has the purpose of delivering information regarding the essence brought about by internet marketing.

In a bid to perform this task, the paper will seek an answer to the following question: how does internet marketing provided by various companies affect the decisions of the target customers and becomes efficient in their responses and research. This research question reviews how people use the internet to receive information and relay feedbacks or participate in the collection of data required by companies for analysis.

Therefore, since customer satisfaction is a vital attribute in the sales of services and products through the internet, it is paramount to evaluate the technical approaches and directions of using the internet to offer credible and reliable treatments on sales. Internet services assist to collect data that can be used to improve products and eliminate any prevailing problems in a company (Woodall 1291). Since the globe is having frequent changes attribute to IT, it has become an area of interest to people. These people require the update of the progress of marketing and the websites that are showing better outcomes in terms of service delivery especially concerning marketing. Figure 1 shows a chart displaying the average engagements of people to various marketing websites.

The data for this evaluation was downloaded from the internet on a website that investigated the effects of the internet on social networking and sales. The chart was retrieved from a website named Business Insider in the web. The website shows how to measure engagements through the application of various strategies especially when using social media (Carlson and Angelova par. 5). For instance, the Facebook tab indicating ‘like’ and ‘comment’ has been used to measure how people are satisfied by various brands. This data shows that Facebook is the most suited site in the marketing of products since it reaches more people.

Primarily, the application of the internet has not only become profound in marketing but also in the enhancement of quality, feedback, and suggestions. Figure 2 shows the process of using the internet to survey throughout the globe (Furrer and Sudharshan 125). It shows how the internet is applied in delivering reliable and satisfying services to the people. In essence, the internet affects the reaction of customers by informing them about the preferred brands.

Facebook is the most appearing and reliable social site that manages to reach a higher number of people per unit time. The gradient of the graph in figure 1 dictates this suggestion. It compares the other websites with Facebook which shows better ways of attaining responses from customers. In this evaluation, it is evident that internet marketing is paramount to the sales of products and services within the prevailing state of information technology. It is paramount when companies are competing to attain customers and loyalty. Therefore, they must be studied and followed properly to avoid confusion and improve income.
