Project objectives

JLM is out to develop a social network that is aimed at addressing the rampant cases of unemployment not only in the United States of America but globally. The site using the internet as a major tool will of course be developed after a lengthy consultation and consensus of all the organization’s stakeholders (Doran, G. T., 1981). In doing this, the project will be aiming at accomplishing the following objectives:

  1. Strengthening a new way of job hunting to the modern standards. This will be done by giving the job seekers a chance to produce their occupational directory in which they will be outlining their education, training, and experience as they look for the jobs of their interest.
  2. Enhancing global connections and matching the job hunting youth with the various employers from any part of the world. For instance, an employer in the USA can easily access applicants from other continents like Europe, Africa, or Australia.
  3. Decreasing and bridging the gap between the employees and the potential job seekers thus, giving room for the talented to get access to the available job opportunities that suit them.
  4. Increasing the pace at which the available job vacancies can be filled within the shortest period possible. According to research, there are over 3 million vacant jobs that need to be urgently filled.
  5. It will strive to be completed within one year and the only cost at most US 4. 2,000 to be ready for usage.
  6. It will be measurable qualitatively and quantitatively. This data will come from the clients’ feedback alongside the total number of users.

Project product

The JLM Enterprises is aiming at producing a new brand of social network for the general market. The JLM Solution’s Social Network will be of its kind since it will be designed to address the various needs of the larger global community. It will be a site that is used to connect employers and potential employees. It will be an online site connecting people from all corners of the world.

However, it will not be an expensive venture because it will not strain the organization financially. This social network will be designed by a dedicated team of experts. It will appeal more to the users because it will create an ample opportunity for the job seekers to generate their profiles in the form of print, video, or any other multimedia mode (Paul C.D. et al., 2005).

Meanwhile, the site will act as a tutorial center for the students aspiring to develop their professional careers or venturing into job trading activities. It is this kind of unique feature that will make this site more appealing to all the clients hence making it generally accepted as a noble ultimate solution to the long-time traditional distressing job hunting process.

Project assumptions

For this project to realize its major objectives, the management of JLM Enterprise will have to commit itself to the following assumptions:

  1. All the responsible and concerned stakeholders will give consent to the project and support it well. It will be assumed that they will dedicate their time to ensure its assured success.
  2. It will be assumed that the project will appeal to all the users. All the job seekers will embrace it and make good use of it in their pursuit of personal development. They are expected to identify with it and post their profiles there for the various employers who are also supposed to demonstrate their support to the project through their unlimited cooperation (Harrison, F.L. & Dennis, L., 2004).
  3. It will be assumed that the project will achieve its ultimate end within a specific time limit. It is expected that everything should be complete within the next few months. This means that all the necessary preparations and operations should be finished within a specified time limit. Meanwhile, the employers should not take long to get in contact with their potential recruits.
