Leading positive change among nurses is a task that has been bestowed on leaders in the same field because of the manner in which they can align different goals and unlock the potential of all employees within an organization (Motacki & Burke, 2011). The first thing here is to lead by example so that employees can be able to emulate positive behaviors that are exhibited by managers as far as leading change is concerned. Communication is a powerful tool that will have to be applied in this process and as a result of this; leading positive change will mean that effective communication strategies are put in place. Listening to patients and employees will also create an opportunity where their concerns can be understood properly so as to factor them in the change process and provide an easy way for them to lead change from their end. Evaluations must also be done to ensure that the process will lead to the desired change.
