The theme of love and compassion is evident in the literature, and it shows the connectivity between all human beings. The relationship with family members, either direct or indirect, indicates that a strong connection has been formed, which could sometimes cause emotions such as joy, happiness, or even sadness among the concerned individuals. Thus, when such people are separated, they feel the missing gap and become emotional. For instance, when Hope’s parents moved to other parts of the country, it got extremely challenging for her, and she could not able to cope with the situation. Nonetheless, she was welcomed by other relatives that were still connected to Hope’s family. People need others to get support and for them to be able to keep on with their daily undertakings.

The death of Chadwick Boseman affected many people despite most of them not being family members. However, being an actor whom many people liked, a larger population felt the effect of having been left by their hero. Thus, in this scenario, Hope is affected by both the shooting and, eventually, the death of Kenosha, yet they are not related in any way. The above demonstrates that some relationships could be formed outside the family circle. For instance, in this story, Hope’s parents had friends living on the other side of the country, and when they decided to move to that part of that locality, these people took them in, even though they were not related.

Therefore, human being relationships and bonding are two comprehensive aspects, and love between people is displayed when they meet and engage with one another. The link shows that the human race is a series of connectivity of people from all dimensions (Gullick, 2020). Nature dictates that human beings will always form and create links and bonds among themselves. In this regard, people will find themselves connected through their feelings for each other and how they express them toward others. The above connection has allowed people to meet and develop new relationships, irrespective of their differences. This way, human beings are able to live and engage with each other on a daily basis. Thus, people should not get detached from others because it could cause them harm, as they may feel hated and rejected. Society needs to stay connected, notwithstanding the distance between people. They should be linked through love, compassion, and team spirit to prevail.
