In the modern age, issues in a workplace environment can tremendously affect the health and well being of the employees. Successfully managing the emerging complications and fully addressing their origins becomes necessary for remaining productive and fulfilling one’s professional responsibilities (Sorensen et al. 430). In this regard, several strategies have been proposed to mitigate the occurrence of workplace problems and ensure that the workers can utilize such methods (Currie et al. 492). In the working environment, the most frequently emerging complications are connected to interpersonal conflicts and the employees’ mental health.
Confrontations between the company workers can become exceptionally troublesome for the organization’s outputs. However, these issues can be addressed by introducing pathways for conflict resolution. As such, inquiring about the difficulties experienced by other workers and expressing one’s concerns in a polite, non-confrontational manner can tremendously reduce the possibility of encountering communication problems (Currie et al. 492). Additionally, promoting positive interaction between the team members and suggesting opportunities for resolving issues can lead to improved communication.
Another workplace problem, the employees’ mental health, can also decrease overall productivity and create additional obstacles for the workers. Given that the organizational environment tremendously increases the likelihood of stress, the team members must be aware of the mental health complications that can emerge in the working atmosphere (Memish et al. 218). For instance, completing regular stress assessments and conducting psychological evaluations can significantly reduce the pressure from a consistent workload (Memish et al. 218). Furthermore, relieving tension at the end of every working day may also diminish the risk of burnout, ensuring that one’s mental health remains stable (Memish et al. 218). From this perspective, every employee should dedicate extra time to focus on their psychological welfare.
