I think that the decision to pick Nvidia as the target company for the acquisition was warranted and well-justified. Among all tech giants, the company has managed to cement itself as reliable, advanced, and accustomed to collaborations with others. The Nvidia brand is well-known around the world because it influences the personal computer market, as well as specific technological niches. In addition, I think the countries that were chosen as potential places for purchase were correct. China has a considerable amount of global influence in today’s market, while Germany and the UK possess the necessary foundation to make corporate efforts successful. The process of buying Nvidia is straightforward, but the subsequent could of action is less clear. In particular, a need for successful business integration emerges. To allow ACME to properly manage its increased assets, secure profits, and derive value from the purchase, competent integration that respects the differences between organizations is necessary (Gavin, 2019). Questions of management, leadership organization, quality control, and streamlining begin to emerge. In addition, other potential issues, like a lack of synergy, can arise (Gavin, 2019). The acquisition of another company presents many opportunities for success but also puts a company at unprecedented risk. If the estimations of future profit show themselves to be too optimistic, the organization can easily lose out on its investment. Overall, I think the post was made very competently, and covered its subject with a due amount of research and consideration. While some potential concerns remain unaddressed, that does not diminish the value of the work.
