Risk assessment, health monitoring and surveillance, information distribution, and the promotion of a culture of safety management were all cited as best practices for healthcare facilities to implement. Chemical, microwave, pyrolysis, and personal protective equipment (PPE) reprocessing were all proposed as ways to deal with chemical and environmental threats.
