Modern technological progress contributes to the effectiveness of the process of providing medical services. It applies to medical personnel and patients since all necessary procedures and actions have become more accessible and convenient. These include telemedicine, which helps reduce the barriers to providing health care to the person. The purpose of the work is to analyze one of the innovative resources for nurses and how it affects the effectiveness of telemedicine.
The selected site contains valuable information for nurses on improving preventive medicine’s effectiveness. CDC Prevention Guidelines Database is a structured database of all preventive medicine recommendations developed by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (CDC, 2022). This resource allows one to quickly and conveniently access essential guidelines wherever they are published. It is vital since timely access to information is a key factor in the quality of medical services (American Nurses Association, 2021). Besides, it promotes positive outcomes for the patient, which formulate the telehealth benefits.
It is worth noting that the chosen resource is innovative for me for several reasons. Firstly, it is convenient and makes the process of searching for information as fast as it would have been impossible a few years ago. Moreover, it formulates an effective approach to medicine from a technological point of view, namely the use of technology to reduce barriers.
