The fourth area in which the implementation of MIIS was advantageous is mailbox management. Again, it was connected with the level of security and human resources. It is only natural that some employees quit. Ideally, a system should display such changes immediately. In the case of MIIS, this principle was present. Previously, data on users who were not employed anymore remained, but after the innovation was developed, mailboxes entered upon registration could be automatically deleted if necessary.

In other words, the system itself identified which mailboxes were redundant, and DOHMS could be sure that all information represented was relevant. What is more, the safety issue was addressed: persons who had no concern with the Department were unable to receive access to its inner data.

To sum it up, introducing MIIC was a remarkable novelty. The benefits associated with the new system touched upon many aspects. Because the HR system operated on Oracle was synchronized with a sole set of data, it was possible to amend accounts. Time savings and productivity increase were also present. Finally, mailbox management was better: the system could recognize irrelevant information. Thus, MIIS brought several important for DOHMS changes that influenced positively.
