The selected lecture tells people how important it is to be able to speak to an audience and say the information they need. A speaker leads the lecture under the pseudonym DK, a creative producer of many podcast-related projects and interviews. The lecture takes place on the YouTube platform created and posted by the TEDx Talks platform. The analysis of the speech will reveal the main rhetorical implications that the speaker used.

In the video in question, there are several moments when the speaker addresses the audience directly. An example of this would be the passage where the author asks the audience whether they can easily perform in front of the auditoria or if it makes the majority worry (TEDx Talks 0:11-0:40). Thus, the speaker makes people think about those things that people do not pay attention to in everyday life. Then the lecture goes on at the usual pace and addresses the audience several times.

The speaker makes connections between the audience and the topic of his speech a few times. One of the most notable is the same moment when the speaker asks the audience how they feel about public speaking and if they would like to learn it (TEDx Talks 0:15-0:37). This is directly related to the topic of the report since the speaker at this lecture aims to teach people to stop being afraid of public speaking.

The speaker recognizes some relationships between himself and the audience at some points in his lecture. This can be seen at the moment when DK talks about his problems with performing as a child and when he could not perform as freely as he does now (TEDx Talks 2:04-2:32). At the same time, an analogy is held with listeners who are afraid of public speaking, which unites those present with the speaker. The speaker addresses his audience throughout the speech with certain theses.

In conclusion, it should be said that the speech was prepared for an audience that is not fully familiar with the topic being presented. This is more of a challenge for the speaker but all aspects were covered effectively. Appeals to the audience have a positive effect on attracting its attention and, as a result, on the result. Due to such steps, the author can correctly express his thoughts.
