Race/color discrimination is one of the worst experiences that an individual can undergo in life. No one person or individual chose to be born of a particular race and no single race is superior to another in terms of performance, wisdom, innovativeness or creativity. Historically men and women of different races especially blacks, red Indians, etc were discriminated against. They were thought to be more apes than normal human beings!
During recruitment discriminating against a person on the basis of the color of his skin or race is not only a criminal offense but quite dehumanizing. Anybody who knows that he/her has not been selected for a particular job because of his race/color undergoes torturers and physiological depression in his mind. Originally at the peak of this discrimination, there were jobs that were specifically reserved for a particular race. This created discontentment from those who felt they were being unfairly discriminated against.

Jobs should be evaluated and analyzed in order to determine the relative pay of each class of job. Above all, this should be based on labor demand, market trends and the company’s ability to pay. Appraisal standards should be consistent and fairly applied to all employees. Promotions should be based on work performance and the ability and morality of employees. Disciplinary measures must not look to favor a particular race of employees. It should be fair and free from manipulations.
