Introduction: Rethinking the Career Plans
The first steps made in the business world often happen to be defining. Therefore, to make the right choice when browsing through the wide range of opportunities, it is necessary to approach the process in a sober and orderly fashion. To start with, at least ten organizations must be considered based on my Holland Code results.
The Top Ten Organizations as the Possible Choice for Career

Narrowing the Choice Down to Three Options
While the list provided above offers a fairly detailed account of the career options that I can possibly use in order to achieve success in the business world, it must still be admitted that the list is by far too long to try each of these opportunities. Therefore, it is reasonable to eliminate some of the options that seem too unrealistic or not complying with the specifics of my character.
According to the test results, it is important for me to pick a company where I could train my social skills and at the same time not to be engaged into much communication. With that being said, the position of a consultant, which the Apple Company offers, is definitely not what I should be looking for. The famous companies like Toshiba, Hasbro and Microsoft should also be taken off of my radar.
However, shrinking the range of my responsibilities as a member of an organization to controlling the production process does not seem a wise decision, either, seeing how, according to the test, as well as my own vision of my career, I could use my skills of social relationships (Student Services, 2012).
Which Organizations Hits the Bull’s Eye
Even though each of the three aforementioned companies look like a good pick for starting to build my business career, it is necessary to choose the one that will help do that right.
At first, the idea of starting off as a Nespresso business consultant might sound quite enthralling; however, after the analysis of the company’s vision, one will quickly find out that working in the given company means dealing with a number of risks, seeing how Nespresso tends to push the envelope and take chances. The same can be said about the Toyota Company. Fastsings International, on the other hand, seems to have it all for a business consultant to start developing professionally.
Mission
According to what the company says about itself, Fastsings’s key asset is responsibility and being able to help people and companies realize their full potential (Fastsings, 2013). The given statement sounds in chord with my personal career goals, i.e., professional development, valuable experience to gain and the ability to train my skills by providing people with the assistance that they need.
Career options
The company also provides enough career options. It offers jobs not only to business consultants, which I consider becoming one day, but also the job opportunities for managers, IT specialists, etc.
Three key aspects to mention
When it comes to the defining points for the choice of the given company as a start for my career, I must mention the fact that the Fastsings’ policy towards HR management seems quite fair (Fastsings center in Richmond, VA, 2013). Unfortunately, discrimination based on gender, race and ethnicity is no surprise in the modern world; therefore, finding the firm that judges its applicants fairly is quite inspiring. Another two reasons are the chances for professional growth and the valuable experience to gain.
Conclusion: When the Time for Taking Chances Comes
Despite the fact that the given choice might seem somewhat mediocre compared to the rest of the companies listed above, for a start in the business world, working for Fastsings seems a rather enticing option.
