Servant leadership is one of the forms of team management, which has its characteristics and features. Servant leadership differs from other approaches in that it is based on gaining power and influence through achieving authority. Moreover, a critically important aspect of this type of leadership is becoming the leader of individuals in the first place while reducing the importance of their own needs. People’s awareness of what values and personal attitudes motivate their activities can make a significant contribution to how they organize their activities. Servant leadership is of particular importance not only for the behavior of a particular group of individuals but also significantly affects organizations and society. Therefore, the study of the values and personal model of servant leadership, its impact on people, and its connection with the Christian worldview is essential for individuals.
Thus, I believe that specific values and the model of servant leadership can affect people and behavior in the group. This is due to the fact that all these members look at the leader as an example to follow (Gandolfi & Stone, 2018). Thus, the qualities, decisions, and values that a given person will convey will dominate the behavior of the group members (Coetzer et al., 2017). Thus, for me, the most critical values are respect, mutual understanding, and mutual assistance and discipline. My model of servant leadership is thus based on the construction of a group management system in which each of its members will show only good behavior.
It is worth noting that my goals and the servant leadership model also have a positive effect on organizations and society. This is due to the fact that these two aspects are based on human interaction, which implies compliance with the previously listed values. Moreover, when using servant leadership, organizations and society get the opportunity to harmoniously and correctly form the activities of individuals and establish interactions and relationships between them. Thus, the main task of the servant leader is to bring the most significant benefit to society and organizations (Abbas et al., 2020). This is due to the desire to achieve the best goals and get the development and growth of all participants in the process.
Particular importance should be given to servant leadership principles in accordance with the Christian worldview. In addition, this aspect concerns interaction with essential management practices and the influence on the individual, group, and organizational behavior. The basis of the similarity that religion and servant leadership have is that they both aim to provide the common good for everyone. Moreover, they focus on providing the best benefits and ensuring the well-being of individuals. In addition, my personal model of leadership meets the needs of followers and promotes follower growth. This is due to the fact that I aim to show by my own example the importance of personal development, which can motivate people. Moreover, my approach gives individuals the opportunity to express their desires and needs, thereby giving them the right to be heard.
In conclusion, servant leadership is a unique way of organizing the activities of members of society and organizations, which is built on authority. Therefore, within the framework of this approach, respect, mutual understanding and assistance to other individuals have special values. Moreover, with proper implementation and adherence to the concepts of servant leadership, joint growth and development of society and organizations that are involved in this activity is achieved.
