In my home, China, one of the problems we have been working on is to recover the Sichuan Earthquake area. I have taken initiative to gather another 12 people who are very closely associated with me. We have taken an oath to provide relief to the people who have been affected by the earthquake. For all our endeavors to succeed we need financial backing and for that e have decided to print pamphlets that show the magnitude of the damage in the affected areas of China. We plan to give these pamphlets to businessmen in China and we have also uploaded these pamphlets on the internet for all the people around the world to see and to support this great cause. The winter is just around the corner and we are quickly running out of time, we need to get support to buy heat equipment for the affected people.
We aim at collecting USD 800 before the winter season; this will ensure the survival of the less fortunate people who have been adversely affected by the earthquake. We plan to buy heaters for the people to ensure their survival, if we fail in this endeavor of ours, the results will be devastating. Our aim is to solicit donations from two resources: large corporations from my hometown, Beijing and online donations to our fundraising website. We have divided us into two groups. The first group is responsible for collecting donations from the established businessmen in China. We will approach them using our established networks such as personal friends, family members, and alumni. The second group is responsible for collecting as much donation as possible from the Internet; we plan to make use social networking sites for the same. I firmly believe that by the grace of God we will succeed in all our endeavors. This confidence of mine and my group members will accomplish this mission.
