People are free to develop their individual attitudes to the importance of social justice in education and leadership. However, it is wrong to neglect the fact that this concept has a certain impact on many educational processes, professional relationships, and students’ achievements. Hytten and Bettez (2011) admit that many education scholars and other stakeholders may claim a social justice orientation in classrooms and other work settings. They use the definitions of different researchers to prove social justice as an important paradigm in educational leadership or as an effective approach to education reforms (Hytten & Bettez, 2011).
Social justice may be used in the creation of job announcements, proposals, and statements to attract attention and demonstrate equal rights and freedoms. Regarding the achievements made by the authors of the chosen article, it is possible to explain the role of social justice in US education reform efforts. This concept helps to create similar working conditions for people and make sure students and families get access to similar opportunities. The government cannot ignore this type of justice because it promotes social rights, and the governmental leaders take care of society and its needs.
In addition, social justice determines the activities of educational leaders in many ways. For example, leaders may learn what people expect to receive when they choose a facility that supports social justice. They can create some general demands and prepare clear explanations in order not to be taken by surprise. In other words, the worth of justice for leaders is the possibility to be ready for different conversations and questions and use personal experience to introduce a facility, invite new people, and support students and their families.
