Introduction

Technical communication involves the use of technology to enhance communication in business and the real-world scenario. The majority of businesses implement information technology to conduct their business operations. Furthermore, most companies have a website through which all the descriptions of the companies are done. This website performs a major role in explaining the business details and advertisements of the organization. Communication within the business can be done through several ways, for instance, the use of e-mails to effectively communicate in and outside the business scenarios.

Discussion

In this paper, I will utilize information on the effectiveness of the use of texts in determining how it has brought a revolution in business scenarios. Therefore, I will discuss how the effectiveness of the text has revolutionized the business based on the book “Technical communication” by Mike Markel in case 13 (365). The following article outlines how texts are effective in the business revolution. In a business scenario, a vast of communication is done using text either through e-mail or written text in form of memos. In the case of the web, the texts are displayed in a pattern that tries to capture the reader. This tries to persuade and inform the reader about the important information displayed.

The text has formed a new age in the co-evolution of humanity and technology as it gives significance to the communication process. In business, communication is the most essential component. It involves communication internally and outside the business. The effectiveness of the manager’s communication with the rest of the members as well as the other staff members’ interaction among themselves and subordinate staff matters a lot when it comes to the progress of any business. Technical communication has become a fundamental aspect of communication when competition arises (Markel 365). It involves the use of the web in communicating and advertising business products and services. Businesses that have involved web blogs tend to emerge the winners when it comes to capturing the market.

In this paper, it is important to analyze the principles considering effectiveness when using text to communicate. However, when communicating using text, we must focus on the response of the audience and their needs. Effective communicating to an audience entails using a message to meet the audience’s needs (Raman 43). In business, communication must be specific and address the aspect of the message that the customer or the client wants to clarify. Following these steps, a good understanding of the audience is ensured through learning what the audience knows and wants to hear. Passing the information at the right time is vital in the process of communication (Raman 43). This attracts attention to the audience, making it easier for the information to be spread.

Communication using text must also shape the information to come to the public expectations. This involves a process of information development. It includes creating, drafting, and revising the message to be communicated. In a business scenario, the message must match a given purpose, audience, and medium. The communicator must have an abundant store of information to satisfy the audience’s need and keep it for the future purpose of communication under the same scenarios.

Conclusion

Communication is a key component in our daily life, specifically in business. This calls for proper development of the messages and using appropriate mediums when communicating to the audience. It is essential in business and the real-world situation hence the message to be communicated must be specific and relevant to the supposed public.
