The provision of high-quality services during the pandemic is a critical task which should be performed by specialists in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO). Meanwhile, in order to ensure the effectiveness of this measure, one should pay particular attention to interdisciplinary practice in the context of multiculturalism and diversity. These conditions imply additional risks, and nursing practitioners play a significant role in implementing a comprehensive approach to the problem.
The main opportunities for developing interdisciplinary methods within medical facilities for advancing the WHO’s global health agenda are related to partnerships. They are to be strengthened through creating networks not only on a national level but among the participating countries (Feuerstein et al., 2019). In other words, progress in this field is possible if efforts are combined on a larger scale and knowledge exchange. In turn, the application of multiculturalism and diversity practices and policies can improve the outcomes of the mentioned solutions since the emphasis on cultural competency is critical for nurses (Stubbe, 2020). This aspect positively correlates with better quality of services for everyone and can affect my workplace conditions by promoting equality. As for the role of a Nurse Practitioner from the perspective of conducting global initiatives, it is primarily connected to maintaining the autonomous work of facilities (Brennan, 2020). In other words, my contributions in this area will include the willingness to perform everyday duties while accepting the accountability for the outcomes as a part of worldwide programs.
Thus, as a future Illinois Nurse Practitioner in primary care, I will be able to influence the global approach to healthcare needs of the world population by using the developed approaches of the WHO as guidance. The opportunities ensured through partnerships alongside multiculturalism and diversity practices will be laid in the basis of further cooperation with other employees. As a result, a positive change will be fostered by implementing uniform measures on a local level.
