The escalation of challenges that faced Trinity Health Organization required the creation of the PMO Charter. Some of the firm’s challenges include the demand for more physicians and nurses. High death rates resulted from mishandling medical situations and delayed medication due to shortages. The need for more funds made it more difficult for the firm to purchase the required medical facilities. Costs for buying medicines for patients, especially patients without insurance, weakened their condition.
The Overall Schedule for Process Rollout
Process rollout aims to identify and apply changes to facilitate the firm’s productivity. The rollout process is critical in determining what should be done to achieve the project’s goals. The rollout process for the PMO Charter in the Trinity Health Organization involved the following:
Planning process whereby the project stakeholders identify the goals and objectives of the project. The project’s goals included examining the future and present conditions of Trinity Health and identifying critical challenges. To address the issue of inadequate resources, the project intended to incorporate more project sponsors who could facilitate the provision of resources (Rowe, 2020). The planning process helps the project identify stakeholders like the project manager, project director, and project coordinator and states their roles
Roles and Responsibilities
The stakeholders are responsible for handling the current projects to ensure they are completed on time.
The process rollout identifies the project plan that executes the project. The rollout process includes the following procedure.
Project Title: Reducing Health issues in Trinity Health
Project Description: The project aims at minimizing the health challenges that Trinity Health undergoes. This will be done by purchasing new machinery, maintaining health record systems, hiring competent health practitioners, and training employees to improve performance.
Project Team Members
- Project manager: Lydia Lyndora
- Project Director: Elijah Burke
- Project Coordinator: Alexa Martins
Project Timeline
- Purchase of hospital machinery: Weeks 2-3
- Installation: Weeks 1-2
- Maintenance of health record systems: Weeks 1-2
- Training: 3-4 weeks
- Hiring: 5-9 weeks
Project Key Deliverables
The key deliverables of the project will include the following:
Health Awareness Campaigns and education will be intended to train and educate patients on ways of promoting healthy behaviors, such as observing healthy eating patterns that help handle health challenges.
The Health Assessment report outlines the health challenges, current health status, policies, and strategies to minimize the obstacles, such as failure to satisfy patients and unavailability of drugs for patients.
Electronic Health Record systems, such as custom EHR builds, will record patient information. The system will consist of all records of the patient
A maintenance plan will ensure regular maintenance of health systems and machinery.
Staff training that will guarantee the effective performance of the project
Hiring new staff as a measure to encounter work overload
Project Budget
The project intends to cost $ 8000
Simple project mapping
Training
Training will be required to facilitate new skills that will ensure patients are treated effectively. The functional manager required training to ensure project milestones were performed effectively.
Changes and reasons for activities sequence
The project required an extension of time up to 2 weeks, and the budget allocated needed to be increased to facilitate the completion of the project. The project coordinator and one of the project sponsors pulled out, which delayed the project’s completion. The changes resulted in a sequence of activities and a change of roles to ensure every stakeholder plays their role effectively.
Visual workflow
Visual workflow is represented by a work breakdown structure (WBS). The WBS breaks down project activities into a manageable manner that facilitates accountability, efficiency, and project completion within the required time frame.
