Are you getting fat and lazy? It would be best to try regular workouts since they prevent health problems and keep your body in good shape. Today, individuals are all exposed to health hazards due to the change in lifestyles. People have limited physical activities, and this can lead to various health problems. These problems provide the basis for the need and importance of working out and actively staying healthy. Humans have to engage their bodies in physical activities so that the muscles and other body organs may work well. Working out will improve sleep patterns, help fight stress and depression, and improve memory and thinking capacity. Furthermore, regular workouts reduce the risk of having heart disease. I want to inform you of the importance of working out. I hope by the end of this speech, you will be motivated to work out and live a healthy life. Let us talk about the benefits of working out.
Firstly, the risks of developing many life-threatening diseases can be minimized by working out. Inactivity can lead to cardiovascular diseases, such as heart conditions. Recent research on lack of exercise and heart disease, the study reported that almost 40 percent of heart-related complications are due to lack of physical exercise (Pinckard et al. 69). Failing to work out is an example of physical inactivity. Healthcare providers recommend a daily routine of about thirty minutes of aerobic exercises (Pinckard et al. 69). During workouts, aerobic exercise will increase your blood flow throughout the cardiovascular system circulating oxygen to our muscles. For example, swimming, dancing, and cycling help in blood flow in the body.
Secondly, you will feel stressed if you do not work out. For instance, most students say they experience stress in their school lives. A study comparing inactive college students found out that learners who work out regularly experienced little pressure while those who do not exercise have experienced high anxiety levels (Sharon-David and Tenenbaum 21). Thirdly, when we fail to work out, our metabolism may start to slow down as our muscles shrink and the body fat percentage increases (Pinckard et al. 69). Moreover, a lack of exercise causes our bodies to preserve more calories, and we eventually grow fat. Lastly, when people fail to work out, they may die young due to these health complications. Additionally, when humans’ stress level is high, they cannot have a better sleep at night. Working out is not only about the issue of losing weight, but it is also a question of life and death.
We all know that working out is vital in our daily lives. You are most likely to experience the benefits of exercising if you become more active. First, regular workouts cause the body to release endorphin that helps us feel energetic, happy, and peaceful (Sharon-David and Tenenbaum 25). Exercising is believed to help reduce stress, improve our self-esteem, and boost our energy levels (Sharon-David and Tenenbaum 24). Similarly, it helps reduce anger and improves your sleeping patterns. Scientists argue that working out affects neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine levels in the brain (Sharon-David and Tenenbaum 23). These transmitters make us feel happy (Sharon-David and Tenenbaum 22). Additionally, patients with clinically diagnosed depression can benefit from working out (Sharon-David and Tenenbaum 24). Individuals who exercise regularly then decrease their everyday experience a change in mood.
Regular exercise keeps you mobile and increases your chances of living longer. As humans get older, regular workouts will help them become more mobile. This state helps older people remain independent and live by themselves (Edwards et al. 31). If you exercise, you reduce your chances of falling and hurting your bones since working out leads to a healthy skeletal system. Furthermore, exercising will increase your lifespan since it reduces the risks of leading causes of death like cancer (Sharon-David and Tenenbaum 26). Lastly, working out reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases (Sharon-David and Tenenbaum 25). The risk of having coronary heart disease such as stroke is minimal if you are physically active. Failure to work out increases the chances of having a heart attack, as they are double compared to individuals who exercise (Sharon-David and Tenenbaum 20). When an individual is a victim of coronary heart disease, working out will help prevent the illness’s condition from worsening.
Furthermore, people who work out are less likely to have heart attacks. One research found that women above the age of fifty who walk energetically at least four miles per hour, or those who walk more than three hours a week, have minimal exposure to stroke by a third of less active women (Pinckard et al. 69). Moreover, regular workouts have been proven to raise high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels (Sharon-David and Tenenbaum 23). As a result, exercise activities help increase and maintain muscle mass and strength. Workouts help us control weight, which is vital in health care. Being overweight and obese is linked with an increased risk for abnormal cholesterol and hypertension (Sharon-David and Tenenbaum 22). The most recommended approach to weight loss involves cardio exercise. One of the benefits of working out is maintaining fat-free body mass while reassuring fat body weight loss. Now, do you want to shade that fat and stay actively healthy? If you are not impressed by the above facts, please keep in mind that working out improves our physical appearance, attracting other people.
In conclusion, no one wants to be called fat and lazy by our classmates. Moreover, no one wishes to die at a younger age. Regular workouts are an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. Failure to work out may put you in great danger of getting cardiovascular disease. Doctors recommend a daily routine of about thirty minutes of aerobic exercises like swimming and cycling. Correspondingly, lack of exercise may increase stress levels, slow down metabolism, and cause early death.
Contrary to that, working out has numerous benefits. Regular workouts cause the body to release endorphin that helps us feel energetic and happy, sleep well, manage stress, depression, and peace. Also, it increases mobility and the probability to live longer. Lastly, working out decreases the chances of developing cardiovascular diseases like coronary heart disease, stroke, cholesterol, and reducing weight. I hope my speech will encourage you to start working out today and remember that living a healthy life depends on an individual’s effort. Please do not wait until tomorrow to begin your journey since it might be late.
